I agree 100%. Partially why I fly Southwest with an all 737 fleet. Mechanics know what they're doing. Pilots know what they're doing. FA's know what they're doing.

Last flight home from Mexico we hit some 40k' thunderstorm clouds over Alabama. Bit rough, but it was the classic flight where everyone clapped when we landed. I'm like WTF?? You haven't been on a truly rough flight.

The regional routes have very low hour pilots and staff. You have to get training somewhere, but I'm not part of it, so I'm out.
