We're the corrupt gerontocracy, not Russia.

I'm so fucking tired of they hypocrisy. If you want to bitch about a problem in Russia, make fucking certain it's not worse in the United States.

Remember when the USSR kept getting premiers that were ANCIENT and died in office? Konstantin Chernenko was 73. Yuri Andropov was 69.

That were fucking spring chickens compared to the GHOULS that are the pretend leaders of the United States.
6   clambo   2022 Aug 12, 6:11pm

An 82 year old (Pelosi) is not a boomer, neither is Joe Biden, neither is Hunter Biden, he was born after the boom.

I believe the oldest “boomer” would be 76 today, the youngest 58.

I thought you were a boomfuck?

I have to say, the hardest generation to convince they are wrong about ANYTHING are the boomers. They neither listened to their parents nor their children. This group, more than any other, was 100% on board for turning the middle east to glass, and would call you crazy for thinking the Bush administration lied about the weapons of mass destruction program.

In many ways, they are a very frustrating generation and a very corrupt one. They squandered the wealth of their parents, and they exercise very little civic responsibility on the government. They are the most naive and gullible generation this nation has ever seen. They're the ones that claimed this:

original link

All they do is get fooled, then deny it and scream at you for being stupid and a traitor if you point out they were fooled. I used to believe what was said in that song, I know that song was about being lied into a fucking war in Vietnam. I took that to heart when I was a kid. It was bullshit. We got lied into 7 new fucking wars in my lifetime and boomers, well "they couldn't be fooled again", they wouldn't listen to stop it or speak out against it. It's bankrupted this generation, it's destroyed this country.

Look, I'm just talking from my bullshit "lived experience".

My parents are from the SILENT generation. The boomers, GENERALLY, I'm not talking about individuals, are extremely hard to convince they have been fooled.

Look, I'm 51, that means, I have 20-30 years left or so. Let me tell you what it was like to grow up under the doom and gloom, the world is going to end generation. I have seen NOTHING but shit government all my adult life. We have 100% propaganda since I've been an adult as news. MY generation speaks out against this, the boomers don't, the Silent Generation did, but they are dying now.

The boomers are a nearly suicidal generation. I'm in X, we're nihilistic, because the reigns of power are in the boomer's hands. These assholes are threatening to start WWIII over Ukraine right now, we have a pedophile as a president, whose son is a crack whore, who openly accepts bribes. Nothing is done. We're censored if we speak out against it, why doesn't the boomer generation revolt when mine does?

The boomer generation is terrible, X is pretty bad, but there's some hope with Y. Boomers revolted against going to a worthless stupid war they were lied into in Vietnam, but they PUSHED GOOD AND HARD for all the wars my generation was pushed into and Y. It's bankrupted this nation, it's destroyed it. It was OBVIOUS this would happen 20 years ago. Boomers won't listen to us. We've been warning about this for decades, and now we're old.

I've never seen this nation so fucking corrupt as it now. Where's the outrage from the boomer generation? We have politicians that OPENLY promote criminality, OPENLY allow illegal immigration, OPENLY allow teachers to indoctrinate children into perversion at 9 years old. Where's the outrage?

I'm not even a goddamned conservative, but I'm not a fucking sadistic nut - that's who runs our nation.
10   clambo   2022 Aug 12, 6:50pm

Boomers pay a shitload of taxes, and not all were interested in foreign military adventures.
9/11 and other shit was a result of lax immigration control; no boomers I know support the education of muslims in flying airplanes. Actually most boomers I know are not too thrilled about woke bullshit, diversity bullshit, tranny bullshit, potheads, bums, illegals and etc.
Most boomers I know are unhappy with the stolen election, Fauci, and the rest of the Wuhan pandemic caused by China.
If you listen to conservative talk radio the tons of boomers call in; wasn’t Rush Limbaugh a boomer?
I’m a boomer who is annoyed by paying for the health care of bastards and illegals, government goldbricks and welfare queens.
Edit: boomers don’t go around hugging guys who are not their 1. grandmother 2. mother.
Guys who try to hug me usually get the “bump off” reaction as I extend my hand for a proper greeting, a handshake.
Boomers don’t take videos of themselves crying to post on TikTok or similar.
Boomers know that the use of pot should be brief and end either freshman year of college or before.
Boomers get maps from AAA and use them on road trips, not google maps which has sent people to their death 💀
Boomers are used to fixing shit because they were broke and drove used cars; of course today we can’t fix cars because they are too complex and you can’t reach the engine anyway.
Boomers usually like the outdoors and they sometimes buy boats because they are tired of hiking in the woods. There are East Coast boomers who just hang around in bars and restaurants to watch sports, they’re lazy fucks from NYC/NJ, etc.
Like any age group, there are (not there’s) a lot of assholes, boomers of course have their share.
Boomers may be the last generation to get suckered into marriage by acquisitive, ambitious females.

ANYONE that carries water for the "But the Boomer's!" canard, bends over and takes it up the shit chute by Billionaire Boomers, that has manipulated those poor soul's hatred of their parents, that have severe psychological Daddy issues and other unresolved family trauma, that they hate everyone born before an expiration date determined by Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, George Soros, Bernie Sanders, and et. al.

BItching about Boomers is a true moniker of a low IQ, and someone looking for someone to blamed their failures and short comings on.

Dumb fucking Cunts the whole fucking lot of them!

-Gen X'er

And PS you silly Fucksticks, just so YOU KNOW! When the Boomers are all dead and gone, it's going to be GenX turn.

By time they get to the Millennials in another 30 to 40 years, that generation will rightly so deserve every bit of the blame that they are making for future generations right now.
At least the fucking smelly HIppies and Leftist Fucktards of Bommerdays gone by, they were actually trying to make the world a better place. Millennials gloat about the intentional destruction of society and they yell, "Burn it DOWN!"

Low IQ fucks the whole fucking lot of them. But I repeat myself.

Millies ruined this country. The Worstest Generation.

This is what happens when you encourage teenagers to "Discover themselves" and "Not bother with HS/College jobs, but concentrate on getting A's in their Marketing Courses, Yuppie Boomer Parents will pay everything" Writing articles about a world without Work, creating entirely new things like "Mental Health Days" and "I don't feel safe".

They all have Harry Potter quote tattoos on their abs and think whatsher face from the movie is the Hottest Chick That Ever Lived(tm). 2/3rd of them are Woke. They're in their 30s and still vote like 18 year olds.

2020 Summer riots, most of the Antifa/BLM IED planters and the most violent were aged about 30. First time in US History where the average arrestee was about 30 years old, born around 1990.

Millies aren't all bad but have the highest precentage of Woketards. AKA Yuppiesspawn.

Millenials are the children of, and products of the boomers. Boomers are The idiots who thought taking mind altering drugs was harmless, the idiots who thought protesting and spitting on young men who went through hell in vietnam was a good idea, the ones who taught their idiot children that protesting subjective “injustice” was a civic duty, who taught girls that emulating men sexually would put them on equal ground with men, who latched onto the party that opposed black civil rights and lied us into the Vietnam war.

Yes I get it’s not all boomers. Some of the ones that post here regularly seem like really sensible people.

But let’s be real about what Boomers did.they told their Greatest Generation parents to go fuck off. People who lived through The Great Depression and WW2 and whose parents fought in WW1. People with a collective wisdom we will never ever see again in the US. Stoic people, say of the earth, tough as nails. I’m 50, my parents are Silent Generation, their parents and all my great aunts and uncles were Greatest Generation. Nobody went to college, my grandparents only finished 8th grade. I was born with a strong innate intelligence but never ever once thought that my grandparents and great aunts and uncles were anything less than intelligent and more importantly, wise. I learned, while a whole lot of boomfucks disrespected these incredibly important people.

And yes, the ones who ultimately destroyed the US.

Neither I nor any of my boomer friends disrespected their parents nor grandparents, in any way.

A lot of boomers I know were very distrustful of the government which wanted to send them to Vietnam against their will. Some were sent there against their will; one guy I know a few years older than I signed up and he came back to the USA in a box.

I recall some boomers had a disagreement with their fathers who were veterans of WWII about going to fight in a country nobody had ever heard of.

Generally, the parents had a negative view of war and agreed with their sons, but some did not.

The boomers I know who are parents did spoil their children a bit because they are also pretty financially stable, but they didn't abide their kids being fuckups and none of them are. I of course don't know 1000 boomer parents.

One guy I know took LSD sometimes I think in high school; he's not an addict (except coffee) and not a liberal nor a loser. I'm slightly amazed he took acid.

The boomer attribute which I don't share is some of them drank a lot more than I do; today they have to cut it out or they're going to shuffle off their mortal coil soon.

Prohibition was the worst thing a country/nation could ever do. I believe everything after that drinking wise got substantially worse as a nation. So I wouldn't put that one on the boomers, just the lobbyist of the time that made a law and everything after became building bar after bar after bar. Both of my grandparents owned a bar. Shit, seems like everyone did.

Every generation has their cohort of idiots for sure. Boomers made some advancements for sure, but I am with Richwicks on this. Boomers politically are awful. And they fucking won't leave and is why we need age limits on the top end for politicians, not just a minimum age (which I agree with). I personally just want them gone from government. Half can barely access an email account or type and this is who is mainly leading our nation?

They also brought about huge homes. That was 1,000% boomers. They changed housing in one of the most retarded ways I can imagine. I grew up in a 4,200 sq. ft. home (including basement), family of 4. 2,500 sq. ft. is the most almost any family needs.

Between housing and the internet, there's no disputing that boomers dropped the ball. Other advancements were made, so it's not all bad, but on a couple topics they did an awful job.

And before there is more Millennial bashing, we're entering our first recession since they came of age to start working around 2006. Not perfect, but that was a pretty good for almost 16 years. And I blame that more on the politics and policies of geezers for the current recession.

Ha ha ha ha. My inlaws live in a 4,000+ sq. ft. home. Just the two of them. Impeccably decorated inside, and impeccably landscaped outside. In a community of similar homes owned by similar boomers and pre-boomers. It gets them off. For those generations, I think it communicates that they have made it, and that they deserve to enjoy the fruits of their labors. If you are ever in Maryland, and drive around Potomac, a suburb of DC, there a lots and lots of McMansions, many done up as French chateaus, >10,000 sq. ft. Your tax dollars at work.

We're building. We could do 1M in construction costs if "wanted" but we're keeping it at 2,500 sq ft. and under $500k. Kids move out in 10 years and IL property taxes blow chunks. I hate that houses have become a status symbol. I'm good with expensive finishes, but I don't need much space wise. Bigger is not better. And yes that includes the bedroom;)

But seriously, boomers transformed housing to shit. They can get upset about it, but it's true. They fucked it up bigly. Having gone over hundreds of floor plans and been in thousands of homes, anything over 3k sf is egregious. Especially if there's a basement. 2 adults and 4 kids is 3k or under sf wise. And that's still extreme. Boomers with an only child though would build 4-5k sf houses though.

I would say I would trust genuine LSD from the 60's through 80's and I would say it was probably safer than drugs on the street today. .Including synthetic pot, most other drugs they could sneak fentanyl in.

How ever I would advise anyone against ever taking anything that someone claims is LSD today. No telling what it would be, or how much Fentanyl would be in it, it's like Franks Hot Sauce they put that shit in everything.

The problem with LSD is the dosing, as it was distributed by an eye dropper on to a sugar cube or paper squares. Never know if a drop fell on the square or a big floop fell on the square giving you five doses on one tab. Then you have idiots that thought well Two is better. On top of that extra loaded tab. I knew people who fried their minds from over dosing on LSD, they weren't all there.

I guess I'm both thankful and lucky, for number one, that I wasn't so stupid I took more than one, ever at one time. And number two, I didn't get ahold of tainted shit, or a dose that was over treated.
26   Ceffer   2022 Aug 14, 1:27pm

I took acid five times. I don't regret it, because if you want to know the balanced delicacy of your perceptions and strange portals of the mind, it will certainly educate you. There is no way to monitor what is real when you are on it except to come off it again. I still have a vivid memory of the shadow of my hair blowing in the wind at Stinson Beach became a writhing Medusa's head of flipping snakes.

However, it will put some around the bend. I still remember my dorm, a group in a shared room decided dropping acid every day was a cool thing to do. They were gone out of university after a quarter.

The last time I took it was at the insistence of a girl friend. My hippie roommate got me a small paper square. I took the tiniest corner I could for each of us to limit the trip, to no avail, the shit was strong and she went nuts. It forced her into rapid cycling manic depression where she would sob and cry like it was the end of the world and then start laughing hysterically and start running around. I was tripping myself and had to keep her calmed down until things dissipated, it was a total bummer from beginning to end.

I had another friend who would go into a bizarre near catatonic state on acid. He would just abandon all survival reflexes, not talk at all, and wander around staring at things for hours.

I've done acid and I've done shrooms. Don't do acid. At least shrooms are natural and not man made chemicals. This is my opinion of course. I only did each of them once. No need to do it again.

I just did mushrooms a little over a month ago for like the 30th time. Glad I did. No kids. No responsibility. I still always get nausea though in the first 30-60 minutes. I also had an edible. Was car camping and laid there for 3 hours during the heavy part. I don't hallucinate on any of that stuff though. More of a body/brain buzz.

I like acid better though, or at least the stuff I've gotten. I've done shrooms and acid at the same time. I drove too that night. I've done some stupid stuff, but knock on wood, I've yet to get into real trouble. That was the night I swore off cats, the animal. I was pretty aggressively attacked by one. Somewhat sober people witnessed it.

Legal weed here in IL has been helpful. The THC content is so damn high. The medical users have been able to grow for 5 years or so now. So they're getting their hobby down and growing some fire shit that is similar to mushrooms and you can carry it without legal issues. Mushrooms like acid can be iffy dosage wise. Weed is kind of you know what you're going to get type thing.

Mixing the beer in is the biggest issue for me. I have to sip the beer when doing any of that stuff. Like one beer every 2 hours. If I'm drinking with friends I have no problem putting 3 an hour down, but if I mix I've really got to be chill. The last mushroom experience I had drank all day rafting (12-15 beers), smoked, ate an edible and then someone brought out the mushrooms. I felt like shit for an hour for the mushrooms and then just floated in my car... lol.

I woke up at 5am ready to go. I'm kind of a freak. I can't recall my last hangover. 0 beers or 15 I feel the same the next morning.
