And it’s also true that if you have two layers on, you’d be even safer with dodecahedral gas masks
Well, it's better to wear a hazmat suit all day with your own portable oxygen tank and when you enter your airlock at home, have the automated spray nozzle, hose down the suit with bleach & detergent, before entering your living quarters.
If I were Fauci, I'd recommend that. Then, you won't catch anything, not even the 12 Monkeys virus.
You forgot to add a titanium helmet to protect head from stray meteorites, a full body armor against stray gunfire, and a scuba suit in case there is a flood. Also, no one should drive to work as chances of being killed while driving are higher than chances of dying from corona for all but 60+ year olds. Let's just hide in an armored safe 24/7
masks reduce the dose of viruses that you might receive

I don't see how that would work, nor is there any good evidence that it does.
You breathe the same volume of air with each breath, mask or not, right?
Is it supposed to work by making you breathe more local air somehow? But then you walk around...
Either way it's less healthy to constantly wear masks than to take a few additional percent of Covid infection risk. That is all indoors of course, outdoors it doesn't matter at all.
They are deprived of oxygen and taught to fear EVERYONE
I just heard on the radio today that a restaurant somewhere in Virginia won a court case. They haven't required masks since last June. The court said it cannot be proven that the restaurant is causing harm.

Fucking Newscum couldn't answer what "science" was behind his restaurant closure order. Dodged the fuck out of that question several times.

And if you are sick your bodies natural coughing and sneezing to expel viruses are now contained by the mask for you to re-inhale.
I get so disgusted when I see toddlers walking around in parks masked up with their parents. They are deprived of oxygen and taught to fear EVERYONE.
And when I point out that that is from the NY Times article "Covid Absolutism" from Feb 12th, they're really stuck.
Well, if you wear 3 n95 masks, that'll add some protection.
So I've been vaccinated, both shots for over a month.

If I have to get a shot, to attend public conferences, then I'd hold out for the J&J one, as it's the closest to an olde school vaccine where the body recognizes the point of insertion and responds accordingly to the "modified" rhinovirus in the region.
With all of that time in front of a camera, it might make some wonder if the celebrity bureaucrat has time to actually follow the latest data and statistics on the pandemic. Given his routine blunders, his lack of transparency, and his advocacy for continued shut downs (there are now over 50 published scientific studies that show lockdowns don’t work), it’s safe to say that the NIAID is either ignorant and clueless and/or purposely advocating for measures that do not work to “stop the spread.”
Good news doesn’t control people, which is why Fauci has become exclusively known as the bearer of bad news. Good news is not particularly good for ratings, nor is it good for the prospects of another exclusive appearance with Brian Stelter or Chuck Todd. He prefers to keep viewers afraid, malleable, and on edge. In media hit after media hit, Fauci predictably reminds viewers that there is supposedly an active or imminent crisis in the works. Without a perpetual crisis to shine a light on, the cameras may turn in another direction. Fauci, a seasoned operative, wants the show to continue. When the virus wasn’t scary enough, surely, the “double mutant” virus would keep people compliant. When people started accommodating the COVID vaccine, Fauci pulled the rug out from under them and openly speculated about the possibility of “variants” avoiding the vaccine, thereby making you “vulnerable” once more.
Fauci is having the best year of his life. It has become clear that he desperately wants the show to continue, even if that means demanding that tens of millions of people suffer by conforming to his pseudoscience-based edicts. The TV doctor sure knows how to drive ratings, with the hopes that this is just Season One of his long running hit pandemic series.

No one elected him. How and who can take his power away? Hell, even the red states aren't completely maskless yet.
