Well, Massie doesn't know the difference between seized assets and apropriations, or that taking oil tankers and using the military to arrest Narcos has multiple explicit Congressional acts behind it.

More than the government not turning off cars, what I really don't want is ICE/DHS defunded so they can't deport, deport, deport.

More than the government not turning off cars,

I think this has been already implemented in the car chips for quite some time. They just want to sanctify it with 'law'. Computerized and E cars are rolling remote controlled coffins at will of those who control the kill and guidance switches. If they can do it with planes and helicopters, they can do it with cars, and it's a favored technique.

Massie is certainly not defunding ICE at all. ICE has boatloads of money already allocated.

Some day soon the old cars in Cuba will be worth a fortune! The rich will be driving a 1950 flat head 8 Ford.

On Thursday, the House rejected Rep. Thomas Massie's amendment in a 164-268 vote, passing the $1.2 trillion package without the 'kill switch' funding ban, and the mandate remains for now.

The amendment targeted Section 24220 and related implementation funds, with Representative Thomas Massie aiming to block federal spending under H.R. 7148 to enforce new impaired-driving technology.

Possible implementations include cameras, driving sensors and blood-alcohol detectors to detect impairment and intervene, with kill-switch systems refusing to start engines or stopping vehicles if impairment registers

It's not about impaired driving.

It's about the government remotely taking away your freedom to operate your own car if they decide you are a threat to any part of their agenda.

Not something I’d mind really. I pray for simplicity.
