Correct. If Mars is colonized, it will be by beings we engineer to live in that environment. Maybe we should engineer a plant that can live in the clouds of Venus. After a thousand years of photosynthesis producing oxygen while culling all that CO2, our descendants will have an easier time terraforming Venus.
