Is my perception off or is California looking more sh*tty these days?

I know it's bad form to generalize a state as large as California, but let me preface my thread title.

I try to avoid going back to California for any reason but because I still have family in the state, I am sometimes forced to visit the Bay Area. But there will be gaps of like 2-3 years between visits.

So in October, I land in SFO to visit my sister. My sister and her kids are still in the Burlingame area. Before I take my rental car down south, I visit a friend for dinner in SF. As I'm driving into the city on 80 and about to exit into SOMA, I begin to notice things are looking a little shabbier than I remember. We meet at a place near Market Street, and I begin to notice something weird. There are literally no retail stores open on the block. Literally all "for lease signs" and most windows are boarded up. The streets are also extremely empty. it's eerie to see. Of course you see a few buses, the odd cracked out homeless person stumbling around, but general foot traffic seems very low compared to what I remembered of SF long ago. Especially during dinner time.

Now my friend is a bit "liberal", so I try not to get too deep into political discussions. Also, I don't keep up with California politics much anymore, except whenever Gavin Newsom tries to insert himself onto national TV with some ridiculous proclamation (like banning all gas powered cars by 2035). But I had to ask him, "Why does it seem every business is closed in downtown and where is everyone?"

He replies, "Well, in the middle of the week it's basically quiet, wait until the weekend it gets very crowded."

I kinda gave him a puzzled look, "It's quiet and empty in the middle of the WORK week in a major city?" I told him it's not like that in Houston, Dallas, or Austin (I currently reside in Texas). The middle of downtown SF just seems extremely sad. Empty, closed down businesses, and lots of cracked out homeless people just laying down in the cold streets. This looks worse than some third world countries I've visited in my life.

He kinda laughs, and says it's "different" in SF, and then changes the subject.

My question to y'all who still live near a major California city, or the Bay Area, have you guys noticed a change over the past 5+ years? I swear my mind must be playing tricks on me because SF wasn't this bad in my memory.

Everybody thinks we voted this shit in. It was APPOINTED in by election fraud and the usual and customary Soros Fecal Impaction drive. If there were no election fraud, Newsom would have been out with the last recall.

When you see scroungy hippies in Santa Cruz hailing people for recall drive signatures against the appointees, you know that it isn't just LibbyFuck voting that caused all of this. The standard LibbyFuck portrait seems to be the affluent and the largely economically immune who continue to dodder on with the liberal illusion i.e. the curse of the Victor David Hanson coastal elites. However, remember that Tech is generally CIA, NSA and surveillance state stuff under the guise of convenience. It is a major NWO franchise.

It does look like it will take military intervention and A LOT of arrests to set California upright again on the vote.

So I never heavily frequented downtown San Diego when I lived there. I do remember seeing homeless at the main trolley station when I used to work Jack Murphy(named the Q during this time, but always Jack Murphy to me). We ate at a Michelin recognized Thai restaurant before we left a few times, south side of downtown(forget what it's called). The tents literally have taken over entire blocks, it was never like that in the past. And as there is a dog park in the area, had to step around a lot of dog shit. Because obviously bringing a bag, or teaching your dog to defecate on dirt/grass is too much trouble for the area residents.

But I will say if this isn't in Houston, or Dallas, it will be eventually. All cities along with centralization are past their prime.

I thought about Pat.net recently because of my SF trip, and was just shocked by how terrible the city looks.

Democrats are parasites/virus. You cannot stop them. The only way is to kill them if I'm being honest. And I'm not promoting that, but I'm just calling them what they are. Texas is doomed, you just don't know it yet. Learn to live amongst the parasites and figure out how to find like minded people to get off their fucking ass and do something.

You might be right about the killing part lol, but definitely not something I personally would engage in at the moment. I'm getting too old, and not too far from retirement. I'll leave Civil War part 2 to the younger, stronger men.

As for Texas, sure it may become blue in the future, but Abbot won by a million votes over Beto. Also, a lot of transplants coming from California actually turn out to be conservative. Exit polls showed that Ted Cruz only stayed in office because of conservative transplants, not "home grown" Texan votes.

Now, 10-20 years in the future? Who knows? California had a Republican governor 20 years ago. But by that time, I'll more than likely be retired overseas if it gets way too bad here in the states (I already own a vacation home in Portugal), and I don't care if the Demon-Rats take over and ruin the country. They'll deserve everything they vote for at that time.

Maybe. Maybe not. I'm not 100% in on the voter scamming because of the sheer amount of Demon-Rat morons who have infected all facets of life in CommieFornia. The K-12 system is basically 99% far left leaning liberals, and because of that, I do think that California public schools are producing tons of far left graduates. This slant also shows up at most of the public California colleges.

Now I do think that in closer races, say an election of 1-3 points in difference, Demon-Rats have an advantage because of ballot harvesting.

But let's be honest, more than likely, that wasn't a factor for Newsom winning re-election in 2022. He literally won by 2 million votes.

You haven't gone to the polling stations. Rotting old gomers and Chinese apparatchiks, no identification required, Dominion or their ilk voting machines. You just roll in and ask for a printed ballot to be counted on the 'convenient' machines. If you fill one out by hand, they put it in a hamper, they are never counted, and the 'results' are declared within hours by some statistical plurality manipulation. Also, you can smell the Kommie hall monitors a mile away, smiling their greasy, hypocritical smiles, as you climb onto the 'You Are Served' election UFO.

It is obvious the polling places and the voting are nothing but a hollow sham. As is the modern custom in the KommieKunt Soros Fecal Impaction appointments, they don't even try to hide the fraud any more.

At least a few years ago, they play acted at legitimacy and appearances. Now, it is all Potemkin.

So how did the recall happen in the first place? And that's what it was, not an election. If you can make Biden look like the most popular candidate in US history, no number is insurmountable. Change the algorithm to switch half the remove votes to keep, there's your two million.

If you don't understand how they'll keep winning every "election" post 2020, I don't know what you tell you. Wake the fuck up, they aren't tying your hands behind your back before you step into the ring, they're fucking loping them off.

I admit there are shenanigans of more effect in certain swing states. Pennsylvania and Arizona are the top potential fraud states for me because of voting machine "malfunctions" on election day (every damn time).

But I don't buy that California is one of them because of the sheer amount of libturds that live there. I do think Democrats are winning legitimately in many California districts because there are some where the registered Republican percentage is less than 15%, especially around LA and SF.

Also if California is just full of fraud, how did Republicans flip 4+ seats from blue to red last election which helped Republicans get the House? Why wouldn't Newsom just fraudulently prevent those flipped seats?

They save the fraud for the statewide (Governor and President, maybe Senate) positions. Statewide fraud allows one to pick the best precincts to manipulate. Not as much opportunity with smaller district elections.

Okay. Let's say MAYBE I buy your point, they're only frauding on state-wide offices.

How do you explain the anemic Republican registration across the state?

Let's take LA County (the largest county by population in California).

5,608,308 TOTAL registered voters.

Democrat Registered: 3,000,541
Republican Registered: 959,894
Other (Green, Independent, etc): 1,647,873

By the stats above, even if ALL of the GOP voters, and "Other" voters, all cast ballots to get rid of Gavin Newsom during the recall (100% turnout), they still would fall 400,000 votes short of succeeding in ousting Newsom.

Only 17% of LA County is registered Republican (it's even worse in the SF Metro area), that's just a math problem that conservatives cannot overcome in California.

Now, I do think ballot harvesting, and bad voter rolls do have "some" effect on these elections, but it's not 20-30% of the vote. Even if I give you 10%, it's not enough to overcome the sheer amount of Demon-Rats registered in the state.

Exactly my point.

I feel like some of the people here have only lived in California since Newsom took office. The entirety of the education system, all the big state unions, are 90% Democrat owned. They outspend Republican candidates literally 10 to 1 in the state. Just the fact that 4 Republicans were able to flip seats last election was a welcome minor miracle.

I don't think anyone here actually likes politicians or thinks that they do meaningful work for the people (though I did make a lot of money during the Trump days, like doubled my net worth).

But that's besides the point. If what you're saying is true, that BLUE somehow rigs the elections in California, then why would they let RED take 4 seats, especially with how razor thin house control was in 2022? Doesn't make sense.

Just admit that California conservatives are literally outnumbered 3 to 1, then it starts to make sense. California is the deepest blue state in the country.

No taxation without representation!

But exit taxes don't have the same constitutional barriers. New Jersey is already doing an exit tax "light" as the state withholds either 8.97% of the profit or 2% gross of ANY home sale when you leave the state, but it's more of a prepayment of "owed" taxes and whatever is remaining after you've paid your New Jersey cut, you should get refunded during the next tax year.

I believe Los Angeles is already experimenting with a tax percentage cut of any home sale over $5,000,000.

California will eventually do it for the whole state, mark my words.
