Yeah, this again. Further down the path of bloody destruction of the Republic, did anybody notice?

Bleachers wisdom and brash, shallow speculations fail in this situation. Time for popcorn?

I love it.

Note that that particular Twitter link is subject to a limit on its "freedom of reach" in that you have to manually click "Show more replies" after every 3 comments.

Someone doesn't really want you to see the comments.

People just need to abandon Twitter. It's not like Twitter is some marvel of technology or something. It's just a website. I bet there are enough people here on Patrick.net alone to duplicate it. The problem we have is the sheeple population.

I'd love for patrick.net to get as popular as Twitter. We are missing:

- big names
- large numbers of people

But aside from that, almost there! Lol.
5   REpro   2023 Oct 3, 7:27pm

Trump has once in lifetime chance to revenge on all, and yet be protected from all current and future lawsuits.

You need to change the interface.

I'm not impressed with Twitter's interface, that's relatively confusing too. It's based on the poster making a post, then a bunch of replies to it. Twitter was designed from the ground up to be a platform for celebrities and politicians - for propaganda.

It was pretty obvious years ago, because celebrities kept being promoted on the site, and smaller people (independent people) were hidden from the public. What has gone viral on Twitter? Seriously think about this. This went viral on YouTube:

original link

That went viral because it was funny, cute, and not political and it came out in 2011. We don't actually have real "viral videos" anymore. Whatever is promoted as popular is PROMOTED as popular, it's not naturally popular. Think, when is the last time a video went viral? Seriously?

Trump elected Speaker.
Trump impeaches Biden, uses trial to drag Joe in the dirt of his corruption.
Joe resigns ahead of verdict.
Trump impeaches Kamala.
Trump installed as god-emperor

They supposedly kicked out McCarthy over our monstrous spending bills and deficits.

The vast majority of our deficit is driven by our out of control entitlements like Social Security and Medicare. Everything else is background noise. Yet Trump has been making retarded Leftist complaints against DeSantis saying DeSantis will cut entitlements and throw granny over a cliff.

So it makes all the sense in MAGA world to make Trump Speaker - right?

No, actually because he broke maybe a dozen promises, way to minimize. We still have political prisoners languishing in prison and he wouldn't release the damn J6 tapes. For that alone I'm glad that asshat is gone.
15   rocketjoe79   2023 Oct 4, 8:33am

This is one of my predictions, tho it's happening a bit late. Trump as speaker could become president as the third in line to the throne. Then he could conceivably serve three times as president. Then DeSantis can have a go.
16   Maga_Chaos_Monkey   2023 Oct 4, 8:38am

That would be lovely, except the DeSatanist part, he blew it as far as I'm concerned.

As if the Republicans in the House with razor thin margins can do jack shit about J6 prisoners right now while Democrats control the Senate and Presidency?

Thought Tucker already had most of the J6 footage?

Just more goal post moving by Emo MAGA that is letting the Democrats radicalize and run circles around us so we self destruct.
18   Tenpoundbass   2023 Oct 4, 8:57am

And as a result Jim Jordan is considering running. Something he has always adamantly shied away from.
I now realize why he shies from it, because he can be more genuine, running mock hearings exposing the culpability of the Establishment, Deep State and Corrupt Administration. Do nothing while they circle the wagons and exonerate their actions by inaction from a feckless Oversight hearing, and the DOJ's unwillingness to follow up. His show trials legitimizes their actions, so much so to the point. That if this ever turns around and their is real political will to prosecute or go after the bad actors. First the statute of limitations has ran out,(Me thinks this is why the NY AG included the old charges against Trump so Statute of limitations can exonerate him, and it will be accepted when those same statues clears the Biden's.) But secondly if the limitation has not ran out, the opposition can and will say. We went over this already, Jim Jordan found nothing wrong, why are we wasting tax dollars on it?

Nancy got them in there, next speaker can get them out.

You thought wrong. Releasing it would free those people through the court of public opinion. Just like buffalo guy.

The vast majority of our deficit is driven by our out of control entitlements like Social Security and Medicare.

For which employees pay 6% of total annual GDP over and above income and other taxes. Payroll taxes, despite Bidenrecession, 6% of GDP alone! For decades, the paid-for-benefits were running massive surpluses. Now, there's a slight deficit above payroll taxes for those items.

Totally off limits, and if you want a revolution, start cutting medicare + social security benefits.

We have a lot of cuts we can make to Team America:World Police, Student Loan Programs,

We certainly can't afford Ukraine.

Here are McCarthy's deliverables:

I'd like to think that, but the corruption among Republicans is almost as bad as that among Democrats.

Ask Victor Davis Hanson put it, "They are afraid of not being invited to the right parties in DC."

Trump, if really smart should try to take opportunity to be Speaker of the House. He will have much more to win than loose.
E.G:
1. He can stop his lawsuits and past pone forever.
2. He can impeach Biden.
3. He can impeach Mayorkas.
4. He can impeach AG Garland
5. Still can campaign but will become not necessary.
6. Vote for money to finish wall.
7. Propose new laws for immigrants.
8. Stop automatic citizenship for illegal parents' children.
9. Impeach A Blinken.
10. Set age limits and serve time limits.
11. Open investigation to Pelosi and FBI role in J6
12. Prepare fair and accountable election rules.
13. If not win presidency in 2024, still can be Speaker of the House.

Is that below his ambitions to be again President and loose again due to rigged election?

@socal2

Why do people say this?

People are forced to pay into Social Security, and then people like you complain that the government has to pay it back.

War is the biggest waste of money. We've bombed 7 nations in the last 20 years, and what the fuck did this nation get out of it? But they paid for it.

In order to remove McCarthy they had to collude with the demon rats. I don't think demon rats would collude on installing Trump as a speaker.
34   clambo   2023 Oct 5, 8:15am

I have comments about spending on the entitlements Medicare and Social Security.

I have paid a Medicare tax my entire working life and never got sick. I'm retired and I'm paying $329/month "Medicare premium tax" for my entire life (but it will rise).

I receive Social Security which is basically just returning me my own money paid in Social Security Tax my entire working life.

Every April 15, I send back in taxes roughly the amount of money that Social Security paid me during the year.

That's because I have some fuckin money saved and invested.

What I agree is very wrong is increasing Social Security benefits for "cost of living" increases; this is absurd and should stop.

None of the scumbags I know who have employed illegal alien workers have paid for their healthcare nor their childen's; everyone goes to the hospital sooner or later, and we all pay for it.

"Blame the boomers"; most boomers I know pay a shitload of taxes and probably don't have much fun. Some, like my brother in his 70's, keep working because he likes being out of the house and not around his harpy fat fuck of a wife.

"Don't get me started!"
End of rant.

I'm not going to dispute this, but it sounds a lot like a parroted answer when you consider what we spend on various welfare and foreign aid programs which is probably the real budget buster:
Section 8 housing
Everything the FHA does
Obamba Phones
Chip (socialized medicine for kids).
SNAP (Food Stamps)
Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)
Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)
Social Security "Disability"
Minority procurement requirements are also a waste of money.

I'm sure that there are a lot more.

Military spending may be a big chunk of budget, but not having a competent military is much more expensive in the long run. Only idiots unilaterally disarm or let their military degrade. The "end of history" never happened.

Iceland, NATO member, does not have army at all. US doesn't have military base there also, just allowed to use part of international airport to keep planes.

Trump considering trip to Congress before speakership election
The former president is open to pitching himself as a speaker candidate, according to a Republican familiar with internal discussions.

100 Days of Speaker - ram through border security, get important single subject spending bills through, Art of the Deal, and help pick his successor and set the agenda of the next speaker in Advance with public promises.

Also, Enjoy Dems and Leftoid Judges trying to Gag the Speech of the Speaker of the House

Strategy of tension - make them be the assholes they are even more boldly than last time.

I love having a small military, aside from SSBNs, Nukes, and a few small units like MAUs and 82nd Div for quick, small emergencies. We can build the army we need when we need it, instead of having to fit the Army for what we thought we'd need. We should always come in last to the fight after much time to observe.
