Quite a stream of Agua Sierra Nevada, which is where Cali really needs it. Of course, the bitching and moaning about drought will turn into bitching and moaning about floods. All you can count on is that there will be bitching and moaning about something or another.

The water commissioner might just drain all the water into the ocean again. We'll see.

Lol. "We'll see" your state is fucked up. The water is going down the drain. You know this. What would change this time having a surplus of water? Likely a huge surplus this winter. The weather pattern for weeks has the Sierras getting a fuck ton of snow. Your politicians just piss it away and create drama. They could create one mega reservoir in 6-12 months that could capture all this water/runoff. Instead they're worried about some fucking insect going extinct.

There are dozens if not hundreds of areas of flow from the Sierras that could be filled with 5k acres of 20' deep water. I'm spoiled in the midwest with the Great Lakes, but you guys out there need to start getting it done. The potential is there. Could put the fucking fires out quicker too.

Just went on a walk with my wife and took this:

We also saw a gas powered car which rescues electric cars.

CA will never get its shit together enough to build a reservoir. I believe they are actually dismantling some as we speak, At this point its clear the policy makers want endless drought.

Most of the tri valley aquifer empties through the arroyo across from our house. It is going about twenty mph and is up to within 10 to ten vertical feet of the bank on our side. However, it won't flood on our side, it will first spill over onto the other side and flood the hood over there. We are not on the flood plain, according to docs that came with our house. However, when the sewers start backing up, a lot of water can start spitting up backwards, which has happened a couple of times, accumulating on the lower end of the neighborhood, which is on a slant.

I'd show a movie, but it looks basically a lot like Patrick's movie only bigger and wider.

Skiing is going to be epic this year.

OK, here it is in the arroyo. Usually, the creek is a trickle in a deep gully and you can't see it from the street. Sheaat is flying by in that water.

Lake Folsom has gone up 20 feet in the last two days.
Lake Shasta doesn't seem to be filling near as fast.

Watched a live video from a friend who lives next to San Lorenzo creek/river. Their backyard 8ft fence has gradually been drowned fully into water. Good that their house is located at higher elevation from the back yard. I know their backyard creek side is at least 10ft above the creek bottom when it was almost empty. The creek is narrow and the flow speed is alarming. I guess the current depth should be about 25ft. Their neighbor who is in 80s mentioned that she saw this kind of floods almost 30y ago but a bit more sever that it flooded houses around.

I remember reading an article few years back when Coyote Creek, south of San Jose flooded. There is a flood pattern of repeating in every n number of years for a given area. People generally only remember floods repeat once a year, two or at most 5. Its time for all shack 'owners' to (re)look at flood insurance apart from the 'homeowners' and earthquake.

Waterways are being diverted around the world to give Climate Change scare better global optics.
They are disabling flood systems, and letting neighborhoods flood, while that run off doesn't make it to the rivers as intended. Eventually the water subsides in the ground, but it doesn't help fill the lakes. Funny how the hype over the Mississippi river drying up, doesn't include all of the source rivers that feeds it. They all seem to be doing just fine, while they are lowering the Mississippi river as low as they can get it..
