MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) - An attorney for a Minneapolis apartment building has filed to evict a tenant for displaying Nazi symbols.

Sela Investments, owner of the apartment building on Dupont Avenue South, is seeking to have the tenant evicted for "hanging, displaying and promoting offensive, violent, and dangerous materials in the apartment and on and through the windows of the apartment," according to an eviction complaint filed Thursday afternoon.

"Defendant is displaying and promoting Nazi symbols and its flag to cause fear, intimidation, and reprisal against other residents and (Sela Group)," the attorney wrote. "Defendant's conduct constitutes a nuisance and interferes with the comfort and enjoyment of other residents."

The apartment cites several violations of the lease, writing that the tenant's conduct may incite acts of violence against other tenants and the apartment's staff.

Amy Gonyea, general manager of Sela Investments, says the property was first notified about the flag on March 1, but couldn't see it anywhere when they looked. They got another call about the flag Thursday morning and went over there again.

This is not "something vaguely resembling something", mind you, a real bona fide Nazi flag.

A large visible poster of Michelle Obama would not be an unreasonable cause for eviction.

Who gets to decide what is offensive? If a standard was not set, than no, he should not be evicted. If he can be evicted for vagueness, than anyone could be. I'd bet there is a black lives matter sign somewhere on the property. A BLM sign was flown all over America during actual riots and violent acts.

Eviction would only intensify "Mein Kampf" feelings. They are only feeding the Nazi troll.

If I had to hear the cries of a young boy in an adjacent dwelling who just went through surgical transition (AKA cut off the external genitals) because his (now her?) mother is a Munchausen by proxy psycho that needs SJW validation, should I report the family to be evicted too?

That would be a reasonable cause for "nuke it from the orbit" though.

Should this guy be evicted?

Clearly no, but I don't see this person getting their lease renewed.

Some mostly peaceful protestor will fire bomb that place because of hurt feelings.

I’m offended.

My grandfather died in a Nazi prison camp.

He was drunk and fell out of the guard tower.

Fooled you?

No, it's on an interior wall inside, it's not on the window or anything, if people don't like it dont look in his window.

Does that mean his dick and his balls? If a guy gets his dick and balls blown off, does that make him a girl? Or does that just mean he's fucked up for life?

Careful they want White conservative males to waste a Constitution card on this red herring. No body in their right mind would hang that flag intentionally in front off an apartment window then open the blinds all the way so it could be in plain view. They even admitted they couldn't find the flag when they looked, so they had to give their stooge heads up to open the blinds, after they told him to look again.

If you're a property owner renting out space to a tenant, and they are violating the lease, yes, you should be able to kick them out.

If you're a property owner who doesn't like the cut of a prospect's hair, or what they wear, or what their sexual orientation is, you should be able to deny them - for whatever reason you want.

I don't blame the property owner for wanting to get rid of what is potential trouble.

Could be. Very accurate reproduction nevertheless.
