Remember when this winter started with good rains in.the west all these articles by climate "scientists" and globahomo agitprop "news" corporations about how this will be a dry winter for the drought stricken west despite initial rains. Fuck you moron sell-outs, this will go down as one of the wettest winters in recent history in the west. Reservoirs should be full to the brim but I'm sure politicians made sure there is enough drainage and poor planning so they can keep promoting state of emergencies and fuck over their constituents.

To non-scientists, it seems like hyperbole to say the Atlantic ‘is on fire.’ We’re only talking about an average increase in water temperature of less than one degree. But even slight variations in ocean temperature can dramatically affect weather and sea life.

And the increase isn’t only one degree everywhere. It’s a lot more than that in spots, which will shortly become an important fact.

Whatever is happening, it’s definitely SOMETHING, and most scientists definitely have no idea what’s causing it. ...

Although a few of the many articles stretched the point, trying to claim that man’s carbon activity could be the culprit, there is no possible way that atmospheric carbon could heat the oceans this much through “global warming.” Ethical Skeptic — the same analyst who tracks covid and related death rates — has been watching and writing about this phenomenon for several months now. Paraphrasing Ethical, he proposes that the only possible source of all this energy are deap-sea ocean floor vents pouring vast amounts of superheated water into the oceans out of the Earth’s core.

Ethical’s theory reminded me of another news trend that I’ve observed this year in the scientific press. Excited deep-sea scientists have been discovering many new “hydrothermal vents” in the oceans recently...

A hydrothermal vent is a crack in the ocean’s floor out of which is shooting a vast amount of heated water, like an undersea hot spring. Except super-hot.

Ethical Skeptic has recently been publishing charts of daily sea surface temperatures, and he’s observed the anomaly developing from late last year. Historic levels of heating is showing up in the readings and much of that difference has shown up very, very recently. ...

Even a single degree over the average temperature is statistically significant, as is a one-third degree increase, because of the fact there is SO much water in the oceans. It takes a truly enormous amount of energy to heat it all up. An unimaginable amount of energy.

Especially if you’re talking about heating all that water up QUICKLY.

Ethical’s theory is the only current explanation that makes sense. The only way to generate all that energy is with something like magma or water superheated by molten rock pouring into the ocean somewhere.

Imagine LOTS of new undersea volcanoes. That could do it. ...

And as it happens, we are also seeing hot spots — places in the oceans where temperatures range much higher than one degree — which would be consistent with giant superheated vents, undersea volcanoes, or magma leaks. The hot spots might be located above these areas where super-hot water is gushing into the oceans.

Hot spots are also inconsistent with global warming, for obvious reasons. ...

I have no idea what any of this means, whether it’s something real or is another made up emergency, or whether there is any reason at all to even be concerned about it. Nor do the poor, baffled scientists. In one of the articles I reviewed, when the reporter asked a scientist what to expect in terms of weather and related side-effects from the ocean heating, she replied “Expect chaos.”

In other words, who knows? There doesn’t seem to be anything that can be done about it. We can’t fix this by making our dishwashers work even worse or by putting diapers on cows.

There’s no doubt we’re in for something new. The heating, which seems to have been happening for decades, is accelerating far beyond anything that can be explained by manmade carbon dioxide. And the first sacred cow to be slain will almost certainly be the “climate change” movement. It’s not carbon. It’s the ocean.

So I’m counting this whole thing as a blessing so far.

https://slaynews.com/news/sweden-dumps-climate-agenda-scraps-green-energy-targets/

Sweden has just dealt a severe blow to the globalist climate agenda by scraping its green energy targets.

In a statement announcing the new policy in the Swedish Parliament, Finance Minister Elisabeth Svantesson warned that the Scandinavian nation needs “a stable energy system.”

Svantesson asserted that wind and solar power are too “unstable” to meet the nation’s energy requirements.

Instead, the Swedish Government is shifting back to nuclear power and has ditched its targets for a “100% renewable energy” supply.

The move is a major blow to unreliable and inefficient technology.

Countries are being pushed toward “renewable energy” to meet the goals of the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) green agenda.

^^^^ THIS

Undersea volcanic activity, especially in the Atlantic, is probably responsible for the majority of CO2 emissions in the last 40 years. Plants consume C02 and the big mountain ranges like the Himalayas and the Andes expose rock which scrubbs C02 from the atmosphere.

I've posted on this before. The cyclical ice ages that have occurred over the last 50 million years are an anomaly that is explained by the collision of the Indian subcontinent with Asia, raising the Himalayas and the Mongolian Plateau. For the previous 200 million years (with the exception of massive asteriod collisions) there were no ice ages on earth. This, despite the fact that the sun was cooler 200 million years ago (look it up).

Climate change is a fucking scam and part of globohomo. Fuck them.

Save the planet - burn some hydrocarbons (as cleanly as possible so as to minimize sulfur dioxides and soot). Thanks - signed, the plant kingdom.

I don't disagree.

Any monkeywrench in this fucked up system is a good thing. If I could pick the candidates in 2024, it would be RFK versus Trump, and neither are ideal candidates. If I really could pick, it would Ron Paul versus Mike Gravel. Gravel is dead, and Paul, is ancient.

RFK must realize his father and uncle were killed by the system, but he's part of the system. His father and his uncle opposed it, and he knows not to do that and so, he won't. I don't trust him, BUT, he certainly can't be worse than Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Mitt Romney, John McCain, George W. Bush, John Kerry, or Al Gore were. He can't be possibly worse than them - at worst - he will be just like them. Absolute scum.

For the DNC, he's my favorite but there are others NONE of us have heard of. Media doesn't cover them at all. There's a woman, but even I don't know her name. If I don't know her, barely anybody does because I look.

RFK, Jr says climate change will "disrupt" civilization
IrishCentral Staff

Kennedy, Jr says “the environment is under assault everywhere”

Robert Kennedy, Jr is warning that climate change will deliver “major disruptions” to both humanity and civilization and outlines what he feels are the necessary solutions.

Kennedy, Jr was featured on Yahoo Finance’s Influencers series with Andy Serwer on January 16. The president of the Waterkeeper Alliance, RFK, Jr describes himself on Twitter as a "resolute defender of the environment."

When asked about the wildfires that have been ravaging Australia, Kennedy, Jr said that they are a “predictable byproduct” of climate change and spoke of his own experience having to evacuate his California home due to fires.

He said: “All of the modeling for climate change" points to future “storms on steroids, droughts, famine, the disappearance of the ice caps, the disappearance of the glaciers on every continent, and that there's going to be major disruptions, not just to humanity, but ultimately, to civilization.”

Kennedy, Jr attributes the drastic changes to “our longtime deadly addiction to coal and oil.”

Later in the interview, Kennedy, Jr says he has a market-based approach on how to best deal with climate change.

“I believe that we should use market mechanisms, like, like carbon taxes, and the elimination of subsidies. I think that those are the things that would transition our economy, fast as from a coal-based economy.

“We ought to have a market-based economy that does what a market is supposed to do, which is to reward good behavior, which is efficiency, and punish bad behavior, which is inefficiency in ways.

“Right now, we have a market that is governed by rules that were written by the carbon incumbents to reward the dirtiest, filthiest, most poisonous, most toxic, most war-mongering fields from hell, rather than the cheap, clean, green, wholesome, and patriotic fields from heaven. We need to rationalize our marketplace so that it does the things that market is supposed to do, which is to create a society that we're all proud of and that will sustain our children.”

All it takes is elementary school science to know that Anthropogenic Global Warming is a hoax.

• If CO2 is causing Global Warming, then where is the Global Warming on Mars with a CO2 concentration exceeding 950,000 ppm? Why is the average temperature of Mars at (minus) -81 °F given that the CO2 in the Martian atmosphere is 950,000 ppm? No answer.

• If CO2 is causing Global Warming, then where is the Global Warming on Venus with a CO2 concentration exceeding 970,000 ppm? No answer. Venus has the same temperature as Gaia at the one atmosphere level (sea level) with a very minor adjustment for being closer to the Sun.

• How is it humanly possible for alarmists, to find Global Warming on Earth at 400 ppm CO2 but they cannot find Global Warming on Mars and Venus at CO2 levels exceeding 950,000 ppm? No answer.

Note to Robert Kennedy Jr:

1. Wildfires in Australia, Canada, the Amazon etc are the predictable result of Arson by environmentalists who are financed by the elites with the main stream media fanning the flames of this fraud.

2. CO2 is life! Without CO2 there is no photosynthesis, there are no plants, no animals and no life on this planet! In addition, humans are exhaling 50,000 ppm CO2. So the notion that CO2 is pollution is bunk.

3. The ice caps and the glaciers are not disappearing. Today the Arctic has a lot more ice than 120 years ago. In 1903 Arctic Explorer Roald Amundsen found the Northwest Passage wide open, while today the Northwest Passage is frozen solid. Did we have Global Warming in 1903? No answer.

4. With the exception of the Little Ice Age - about 400 years ago - this is the coldest period of the Holocene (the last 10,000 years) Therefore, the claim that the Earth is experiencing Global Warming is bunk.

Don't make arguments like this. 20 years ago I'd be pointing out your dishonesty because of atmosphere of mars is far far thinner, and you are measuring as a ratio of atmospheric concentration and Mars is also much further from the sun, it gets about 1/2 the sunlight the Earth does.

What's relevant is that the predictions of the past are entirely wrong, that means the model is wrong, which means the science of global warming has no model, which means it's not a science.

It appears, actually, the burning fossil fuels is actually enhancing nature.

Irrelevant. If CO2 is a Greenhouse Gas, then where is the warming on Mars? No answer. And if you are worried about the thinness of the Martian atmosphere and the amount of sunlight it receives then look at Venus. "If CO2 is causing Global Warming, then where is the Global Warming on Venus with a CO2 concentration exceeding 970,000 ppm? No answer. Not true. The atmospheric pressure at ground level on Mars is only 0.095 psi vs. 14.7 psi for sea level pressure on Earth. For comparison, atmospheric pressure at the top of Mount Everest is 4.89 psi - this is enough to make the peak of Everest more than 100 degrees colder than temperatures at sea level for the equivalent latitude. Without almost 100% CO2, Mars would be much, much colder. For example, the temperature on the surface on the moon in the shade is -297 degrees Fahrenheit.

This neglects to mention that the altitude at which this occurs is 30 miles. Everest is 5.5 miles above sea level and is damn cold - at 160,000 feet there is virtually no atmosphere and temperatures are close to -150 F. This statement also misleadingly attempts to conflate one atmosphere of pressure with 0 altitude.

The_Deplorable says

This is just a recapitulation of the first two items, which are obviously and demonstrably misleading. In the first point, pressure is neglected, so the argument is bogus. You'll need something better than grade school science to explain this; namely the gas law PV=nRT which used to be taught in high school. In the second point, this argument is a red herring. Can we survive unaided 30 miles altitude on Earth? No. Can we possibly do this on Venus? Perhaps, if we could breathe the air, which we probably couldn't.

I have no problem with the remaining 4 points and in fact agree with all of them. It's a shame that the first three points leading the argument are horse shit.
