I, shit, you, not...

"Hi Nuttboxer,
I hope you're having a great week so far! I still have not received a check-in from you regarding your COVID-19 Vaccination status. Would I be able to schedule a meeting with you this week to verify your status? Let me know what day works best for you!

NuttBoxer 10:51 AM
Hi Catbert,
I don't feel comfortable disclosing personal medical information.

Catbert 11:11 AM
Hi Nuttboxer. We don't need your medical record, we just some verification that you are vaccinated. The myvaccinerecord or the Clear app only displays whether you are vaccinated or not, it does not disclose any medical information.

Nuttboxer 11:12 AM
I'm confused, I thought a vaccination was a medical treatment for a specific disease?

Catbert 11:23 AM
Vaccines are used to prepare the body's immune system to fight infections that are in the body. Treatments are more along the lines classified as a way to help someone that is already been sick with a virus or infection.

Nuttboxer 11:24 AM
Sorry, you're right I used the wrong term. But you're saying a vaccine is not medicine? (edited)
11:26
I'm just really unclear on how vaccine status does not constitute sharing personal medical information. It's administered by a medical professional, in a medical location, for prevention of disease.

Catbert 11:26 AM
I dont think so because usually, medicine is given to a patient who is already ill or experiencing symptoms. Medicine would be considered as a form of treatment

Nuttboxer 11:27 AM
So anything preventative is not medical?
11:28
What about pap smears? Or blood tests to check for HIV? This is all non-medical information? Physicals?
11:30
According to this medical dictionary, vaccines are medicine, and this lines up with everything I've ever heard from my doctor:
https://medical-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/vaccination

Catbert 12:29 PM
Hey Nuttboxer. I am a little confused at the moment. Is the concern more along the lines of verifying your vaccination status or getting the actual vaccine?

Nuttboxer 12:31 PM
Sorry Catbert,
To be clear I'm not comfortable disclosing personal medical information.

Catbert 12:33 PM
Hey no worries. I just wanted to make sure we are on the same page. Do you have a couple of minutes today to jump on a zoom call to discuss this in order for me to get a better understanding?

Nuttboxer 12:38 PM
We can certainly chat, but I'm not sure what more I can add to help you understand my position on health and privacy.
12:38
Are you ok if I record the call?

These people aren’t that bright. This should keep her busy a while.

I'm updating as he responds back. I've noticed his responses can really drag out, guessing he's having to check everything with HR head, or someone in legal.

Mirror his response times: if he takes an hour to respond to your next question, take an hour to respond to his.

I wonder how HR would react if you wanted to see your co-workers shot records. After all, you do not want a nearby desk or cubical dweller give you shingles, mumps, whooping cough, or measles.
5   mell   2021 Sep 8, 1:38pm

Keep it up - this is getting more ridiculous by the day. We are around 100k positive tests per day, which is 0.025% of the population, probably many asymptomatic. Hardly a reason to vaxx.

It is good to tie up HR and waste their time in dealing with orders which violate human rights.

I'm actually permanent remote, not even in the same city as our corporate office. And they just cancelled a planned gathering due to "covid risk".

I did just get an email from the HR head repeating the same request to schedule a time to disclose my vaccine status, but that request to record seems to have definitively ended the above conversation. Responded to the email with the same line I used above.

That's a good tip right there.

HR is intimidated by requests to record.

This is what pisses me off about HIPPA. They aren't allowed to ask your PCP for this information about you, but if they ask you directly it isn't a HIPPA violation.

IOW HIPPA is just a regulatory shit show serving no real purpose other than to increase the amount of government interference in our everyday lives.
11   AmericanKulak   2021 Sep 8, 4:18pm

I heard I think Malone say that the mRNA Treatment is being considered a vaccine, but is really a therapy. No different than getting a steroid shot.

But the EUA bans all other specific-anti-COVID therapies, which explains the hostility to Ivermetcin and HCQ, or so I hear.

I wonder if the monowhatever therapy now being employed in Florida is some kind of workaround.
12   Patrick   2021 Sep 8, 4:32pm

DeSantis' flogging a different but more profitable injection for Big Pharma is exposing his corruption.

As if that weren't enough, he has done nothing about Florida employers' demanding that their employees submit to the jab. This is his most important job and he is utterly failing at it afaict.

And finally, since the evidence that ivermectin works is absolutely overwhelming at this point, why does he remain completely silent about it? It's even recommended by the American Journal of Therapeutics now: https://patrick.net/post/1340797/2021-08-23-american-journal-of-therapeutics-recomm

DeSantis is just a grifter imho. We all should have known by his indoctrination at Harvard and Yale.

Patrick says

Is he better than the others? That's always the issue. You don't get into state or national politics without being somewhat of a piece of shit.

Is he a fart or a huge turd? That's the hard part to figure out. I think he's more of a fart that maybe he didn't trust. Look at Cuomo. That's a fucking turd. Knew he was shitting and didn't care.
14   Patrick   2021 Sep 8, 6:03pm

Until he publicly objects to employer jab mandates and publicly talks about the overwhelming evidence for the efficacy of ivermectin, he deserves no attention or respect.

Well, the HR head emailed me again on Tuesday asking me to reconsider disclosing my shot status. Then he ambushed me during my normal one-on-one with my boss and fired me. The only thing I said was "Expect to hear from my lawyer". They're offering me six weeks severance, but fat chance I won't check around first. Even if we never get to court, I'm betting I could get way more from a settlement offer than what's on the table right now.

And if anyone knows of a company hiring for QA automation testing(API, prefer Java or Javascript), let me know.

That's nuts, they didn't allow you to work remotely as a QA engineer? Most companies haven't returned to the office yet. You're in CA I assume?

I'd go with a lawyer. It's very likely that remote workers will be exempt from the osha rule and they also didn't give you a testing option. Since you're permanent remote there's no reason demanding the vax. Also how did the HR person barge in if it was remote? Did they hijack your zoom meeting with your boss?! Very suspect, def grounds to sue imo

Wow. They required the jab even for remote workers?

My company has also recently told me to get the jab or take a hike, but my job has always been in-person (prior to covid - I've been remote ever since).

CA companies unfortunately, esp. bay area go full retard. I responded two recruiters that even if I were available I'd only work a non-jab-coercing job, they were both bay area, and crickets. Ironically as of lately every day a recruiter has been knocking on the door. I suspect some.serious talent drain and difficulty to hire for companies following these retard policies.

Cowards they are. Really cowardly to ambush you like that. And heartless scum to demand your private medical information. Make no mistake the shots are pharmaceuticals and most certainly are part of your protected medical history. This is what happens when real fascism takes hold. God help us all. And Nuttboxer, much respect for taking the abuse and standing up for what you believe! Fact is, they don’t deserve your labor. They are the blind leading the blind and those who follow them will end up in the ditch.

They won’t stop until we give in, or they are purged from the system. So let’s not give in!!!!

By the way, they are coming for us at my workplace next. If they have their way anyone who can/will think for themselves will be terminated. They think we are weak, a glitch in the matrix. One day, they will find out how wrong they are.

Finally please examine the evidence, this is not just a battle for liberty, it is a spiritual battle, and we are bound to become a casualty unless we choose the right side. “The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.”

29   Patrick   2021 Sep 17, 5:04am

@NuttBoxer I think you have a very good legal case because:

1. OHSA has not even issued any order yet, so your employer fired you without any government justification at all.
2. OHSA will struggle to justify their order if they get around to making one: https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/osha-will-struggle-to-enforce-biden-vaccine-mandate
3. Your employer has demanded that you be subject to an experimental injection because the FDA certainly has not approved it
4. You're remote! There is literally no way you could be a hazard to anyone in the office.

I think you could potentially get millions of dollars from this.
30   GreaterNYCDude   2021 Sep 17, 5:11am

@NuttBoxer. I echo what others have said. Good for you for standing on principle. Sorry to hear you lost your job over this, but I suspect you'll be OK in the end.

32   Al_Sharpton_for_President   2021 Sep 17, 5:33am

What is your company trying to do? Being vaccinated does not prevent transmission. Are they so concerned about your own health that they would rather fire you than see you possibly become sick while employed by them?
33   Patrick   2021 Sep 17, 5:41am

Also, you're remote for chrissakes!
34   porkchopXpress   2021 Sep 17, 7:35pm

Kudos nuttboxer for having huge balls. Inspiring.

As some of you know, my new employer (FL-based) mandated the shot to the company on my first fucking day. I’m fully remote. I submitted my vaxx status and intent to stay unvaccinated. I then spent 6-8 hours perfecting a religious exemption letter using all sort of advice online. I submitted it on the deadline a week ago and haven’t heard a thing.

HOWEVER, I have a like-minded source in HR that, just this afternoon, swore me to secrecy and said they decided to exempt remote employees because of the pushback and number of exemptions submitted. They likely saw the volume and said shit, let’s cut this volume in half. I’m super happy and will continue supporting anyone to battle against this Nazi-level tyranny.

Fighting back and being vocal can work!
35   HeadSet   2021 Sep 17, 8:01pm

All the buildings where I work have a sign on the door that reads "Mask Must Be Worn Regardless of Vaccine Status." I never wear a mask, and nobody says anything, not even the owner. If anyone is worried, I will respect their concern and stay 6 feet away.
36   mich   2021 Sep 17, 8:39pm

Kudos for drawing a line in the sand! So bizarre they're taking it that far for a remote job. Sue the shit out of them. Maybe you can use religious discrimination.
37   Bd6r   2021 Sep 17, 8:41pm

@Nuttboxer,

you did not tell employer that you are not vaxxed, you just refused to tell if you are...so you can't be fired for not being vaxxed.

Same here. Co is about to fly a group of us to SF for a team meeting. We have to meet outside. I think it may be because of me. I haven't hid the fact that I'm not vaxxed and don't wanna be in work meetings over zoom.
40   NuttBoxer   2021 Sep 17, 9:19pm

Spoke with a couple lawyers today, seems like the legal community also thinks I have a case. Hoping to confirm early next week.

Also spoke with a couple recruiters today. When they asked about Trove, and I told them, they all thought it was weird, nobody understood it. My Dad works at a super liberal place in Denver, and he said even the ones who are balls in for the shot and the covid propaganda didn't understand what my HR was thinking.
