For someone with her experience and (previous) reputation, I'm guessing she filed the suits in good faith that her sources of information were accurate. It's possible Powell was set-up with untrue information. Now, Dominion is filing defamation lawsuits to try to bankrupt her — even if she were to prevail, she'll have spent millions and years.

It's really a no-win situation for either side, as Dominion would never want to answer questions or reveal business secrets in deposition. If Powell had a $20MM bankroll, she could take the suite all the way to deposition, press them very hard there, and have Dominion drop the suit.

Personally, I blame Dominion... in that kind of business, you would want to have the highest levels of transparency and security. Dominion seems to have a bunch of not-so-transparent business stuff (or maybe that's just the right's part of the Fake News™). For sure, though, Dominion's hardware and software looks massively insecure. Even by standards 20 years ago, it looks insecure.

What she's wrong about is that a court of law is objective. That is her error - she believes we live in an unbiased system that isn't entirely corrupt.

The election was stolen, it's obvious it was stolen, but no court of law in this corrupt 4th world nation will admit it. That's how fucking corrupt the US is now. We're in an oligarchical dictatorship and only shit rises to the top. There is no cream.
