What in the hell are they talking about with regard to 9/11? I can't be hearing that right, they are saying because there wasn't a smooth transition from Clinton to Bush, 9/11 happened?

If you recall, that was a contested election in which Gore was expected to win, but didn't. Gore was considered the winner I think by nearly all major "news" outlets at the time - but what would the election have to do with 9/11?

Thats the narrative the MSM is trying to sell unfortunately. The lack of a transition left the incoming GW Bush and his administration flat footed as it pertained to national security matters. I noticed it about a week after the election.

There a related thread on this...

However Biden is not a noob. He was VP for 8 years and know how the system works. Learning curve should be less steep for him. Its not his first rodeo.

Obviously, they think that people's naivete about 9/11 (another fear totem) can be manipulated into the propaganda recipe as some kind of demonstrable fact to make Trump look bad about the transition. It's fiction spin for the spin barrel. They are just making shit up as they are going along, justifying it as if they are policy advisers.

Spin it that a 9-11 type incident may occur if a smooth transition doesn't happen?

@Ceffer there are approx 25 million 18 - 25 year olds who voted in this election who weren't even born and / or too young to remember that dark day. There is a generation comming of age who has grown up under the patriot act and are conditioned to having their every move captured on video... heck they do it willingly, posting what they had for breakfast lunch and dinner on InstaFace or whatever the social media app of the moment is. The fact they are left leaning (as a general rule) is part of why we are at this point in our history.

There is a bizarre tinge of Napoleonic grandiosity to Zucker. Is that sociopathy, or just the notion that he will have a place at the table when it is all done?

None of you understand.

This is SUPPOSEDLY a leaked conversation. Why would 9/11 be brought up in reference to a transition of power between Trump and Biden and be compared with Gore/Bush?

If it's not a leaked conversation, then everything that was heard was bullshit and a distraction which I accept as a possibility.

If it is indeed a leaked conversation - what the fuck would 9/11 have to do with the transition of the presidency with Gore/Bush?

I either heard something that was canned propaganda, or I've heard that the election of a president was tied directly to George W. Bush assuming the presidency in 2001 which led to 9/11. This would, I think, indicate the assumption of power of George W. Bush was directly tied to 9/11 - i.e. if Gore assumed the presidency, 9/11 wouldn't have happened.

Is there an error in my reasoning? I hope there is.

If there is an error in my reasoning, there is a legitimate difference between the two parties, and that blows away 20 years of my reasoning, but it is hidden from us. I'd rather be demonstrated to be wrong than to continue to be wrong. It would mean that Bush Jr. was a victim of the Democratic party and the Democratic party was, alone, involved with 9/11 without the knowledge of the republican party.

This reasoning cannot be correct. Where is my error?

I wouldn't give Zucker et alia that much credit for being insiders to that extent. The 9/11 Commission Report was a canard to begin with. They aren't talking about reality, they talking about an excuse for spin. They are trying to tar Trump for not conceding and 'interfering' with the transition based on some apocryphal association of 9/11 being the result of a bad transition in 2000. They just think it is false propaganda history that will resonate with their efforts.

There are probably some other themes that may have had to do with other conversations on how to use 9/11 in their propaganda. The conversation has some missing parts and presumptions.

This is cool, I just hope he doesn't end up like Julian Assange. Big government assholes and their connected friends do tend to often be above the law, while using made up technicalities to jail opposition (i.e. General Flynn).
