The message: RINOs can't get (always) get away with fucking over the GOP base!

This is progress.

He's out! But only because the Democrats thinks it will thbrow the GOP in turmoil.

Okay McCarthy is out as Speaker of the House. And the Dems in Congress proposed a budget for 2024 that is 5% increase from last, and greater than the rate of annual inflation.

I say have an interim Speaker of the House and shut the government down in less than 45 days as a way to demand that the 2024 budget is only increased by 2% and not 5%.

And even the "moderate" Democrats voted against McCarthy. Says a lot for the Democrat party.

With this Oct 4. 'drill' (remember how the NWO loves their drills and dress rehearsals to shadow their atrocities and false flags) and McCarthy's ouster, one would hope that doom is not pending.

There is no such thing as an 'interim Speaker'. There either is or isn't a Speaker.

Will we all be nuclear french fries come tomorrow night? Where are the remote viewers when we need them?

Does he know something we don't?

Wrong. Read that they have Representative Patrick Henry filling the role as temporary or interim Speaker.

Spoiler Alert the next speaker will be Kevin McCarthy.
The Establishment will only need 5 Democrats to reseat him.
He's better for them, than who ever will be brave enough to stand up to Matt's scrutiny. I don't think Scalise will want the job, not with Matt keeping him check. They prefer the Jim Jordan's and Trey Gowdy's who only make empty threats to hold them accountable. Look at the millage Paul Rand got out of the GOP congress.

Are there 5 "moderates" who will not toe the Democrat Cult line and do this ?

This is correct and rational thinking and I'm embarrassed I didn't see it before you did.

Whoever replaces McCarthy will be as bad as McCarthy though but only because McCarthy isn't running again, and that may change.

Don't give a fuck who's next, won't make any difference. I only care about booting politicians, not instating them.

When I see the Congressional Dems release their budget which increases spending from 2023 to 2024 by 5% with inflation about 3.5% and the total debt of US federal government of $33 trillion, then I want to see at least enough "moderate" Democrats (if there are any) to at least call for spending to increase only 1% less than annual inflation for the next 4 years.

He can take up whatever gavel he wants. There is no interim Speaker. There is a House rule that states there be a list of people who can SERVE AS Speaker pro tem. But there is no such a position as House Interim Speaker. It would have to be defined in the Constitution much like the Pro Tem President of the Senate is.

Verbal sophistry? Damn straight. When it comes to constitutional matters, that matters. Just ask SCOTUS.

More failure theater I’m afraid.

Meanwhile all investigations and impeachment hearings into the Bidens are now on hold.

The Media will be all too happy to shine their lights on “dysfunctional” Republicans and Trump’s legal woes instead of the border, economy and Biden’s massive corruption.

Why would every single Democrat vote for this? They know this is good for them as they continue to run rings around Republicans.

One final thought.
Remember when everyone thought Paul Ryan was going to be better than John Boehner?

Scalise may have been playing a stand up guy, but his name in all of the Yay voters, in every Bill Congress passed that pissed Conservatives off, since Trump was in office.

Scalise scares me, because the Swamp wants him.

McCarthy loved illegal aliens from Mexico coming to California.

Still lost in your false paradigm. Tell me, who controlled Presidency, House, AND Senate when the Patriot Act was passed and the plan to crash the economy is '08 really started taking off?

Is it sinking in yet?

Tell me who controlled the House, Senate and the Presidency when we added trillions in spending including the Cares Act?

I agree that both parties are big spenders, but don’t pretend for a minute that Trump or “MAGA” has or will do jack shit about it.

Trump is too busy making Leftist criticisms of DeSantis trying to scare seniors that DeSantis will cut Social Security and Medicare. All the other spending (including Ukraine) is a drop in the bucket compared to our entitlements and Trump has made it clear he doesn’t want to touch it with a ten foot pole.
86   socal2   2023 Oct 4, 7:54am

Since Trump, the GOP has gone from:

34 to 26 governorships
68 to 57 state legislative chambers
241 to 222 House seats
52 to 49 Senate seats
1 President to no President

All we do is lose.

While we spent the last 6+ years consumed by Trump’s daily issues, Democrats have consolidated power and continue to run rings around us.

The only way to relatively quickly gain control is to let the Trump tax cuts expire at end of 2025 and hold spending increases to no more than equal to the rate of inflation.

They can conveniently claim there is no consensus on extending Trump's tax cuts.

And if the Fed repeats the cycle with a new round of QE and low interest rates this may not set that bad for the rich and upper middle class (>$175,000 annual household income) since assets like stocks in their 401k's and IRA's will re-inflate.

Yes! Now you're getting it. They're all on the same side, and it isn't ours. So we have a choice. Keep investing time and effort in their theatrics, or be the change we want, fuck what they do.

The only vote that matters is the one you cast every day when you walk out your door.

I just heard on news radio that Scalise is running for Speaker. He would be a very good Speaker.

Remember how the first thing McCarthy’s deputy Speaker did was evict Nancy Pelosi from the Speaker’s office, which she unaccountably continued to infest? The unconfirmed rumor is that McCarthy had made a deal with Pelosi. She was to keep the Speaker’s offices — where McCarthy should have been — and democrats would vote against any motion to remove McCarthy. So he thought he had insurance. But Pelosi welshed, so McCarthy-ally and deputy Speaker immediately evicted her from the office.

I don’t know if it’s true. But it would explain the odd Pelosi office eviction that happened immediately after McCarthy was evicted from the Speaker’s job. So it seems it’s up to Kevin McCarthy now, to deny the rumor, and explain why the very first order of business was evicting Nancy after all this time.

Other rumors this morning suggested that Kevin McCarthy is now moving into the Speaker’s offices. I hope that’s not true.

Meanwhile, add a third point in the Gaetz column, since it looks like McCarthy used government property — the Speaker’s office — to recruit Nancy Pelosi and the democrats for his own political benefit.
