Jarbidge NV
Noted locally for its remoteness, no paved roads exist within almost 20 miles of Jarbidge.
I have also been looking at non-lethal weaponry that can stun or confuse for quick getaways without a murder citation. There are projectile guns that break with pepper spray. Painful, bruising projectiles that would have anybody doubled over in pain almost right away with a cloud of pepper spray. Extremely bright LED lights that can blind somebody for a moment or two. Highly directional but extremely loud horns to confuse perceptions and even deafen temporarily when turned on potential assailants.
I'd rather have 200 acres in Montana as a family unit. Fuck everyone else. Would be harsh living in the winter, but there are ways around that with modern tech. Might be expensive upfront, but it's not difficult to build an off grid setup. Honestly, guns and ammo at this point would be the biggest cost. Learn to raise cattle and grow some produce. Get some solar. Bury some water tanks. Fuel tank. Generator.
Where in the hell will they find choice cuts of gourmet meat to grill, when the shit hits the fan?
Go to Newport Breach and steal a yacht. Head for Oregon.

Yep that’s been my plan for the last fifteen years. Except I’d find one with an owner onboard, then either negotiate something friendly-like, or take them as a hostage/pilot if they wanna get all indignant about shit. I don’t need or want the boat after we leave the area, so no need to steal it. And besides it’s easier to jack a boat when you’ve got the keys in the ignition with an experienced pilot on board.
Another important question: how many guns and how many rounds of ammunition is enough for this type of situation?

Boats are the best bet. Not too many drug addled Biker Crips gangs ravening for a fix and food are going to swim or cycle into the Ocean. A huge range of potential destinations opens up for you. And you can always land temporarily to load up on fresh water if needs be (but have plenty in the boat in the beginning Just In Case).
When bugging out landwise, is to practice the route a few times at least, and come up with likely scenarios. Take both a fast route and slower local road routes to your destination. Also do it in different kinds of weather, not just on nice days, but in very wet/dry or hot/cold conditions. That semi-improved road that is a breeze in summer/dry weqather might be a muddy wreck in wet weather.
Absolutely be sure to have fuel storage, and keep some extra on hand. You should have enough not only to reach your destination, but take into account snarls, detours, and delays when your engine is running but the miles aren't.

I kind of disagree. Are there benefits, yes. Combined labor, protection, skills, etc. A downfall would be because of government though. A group would essentially be government. Infighting, betrayal, sub groups fighting with each other.

Montana has it's summer tourism and winter tourism, but most people don't want to live there. So it's highly unlikely anyone would fuck with you and you co...
Popular caliber guns and enough ammo for what you have and to trade.
22lr, 9mm, 556, 12gage
I have no idea about starting any kind of sane conservative neighborhood watches around home. The Delusion Force runs too deep in California, and with the KommieKunt stuff, you never know who is going to 'report' you.

If you don't have access to a renewable water source, your fucked
Does anybody have any survivalist strategy in NorCal with the 500 mile radius for flight for first leg, assuming one might not be able to refuel? My first thought would be Carson City if the Sierra is passable. Second thought would be Redding/Shasta, which is red, conservative county, and hope for second tank to make it to Idaho.
Any thoughts from our seasoned survivalist on schemes for a paranoid run from the Bay Area?
