For those with difficult earwax, I suppose they could use the Water Pic when the wife is through abusing it. If that is not enough, a 1700 psi pressure washer could do the trick. That would not only remove the wax, but also take out that "ear worm" Safety Dance song. For the pressure washer, be sure not to use the tight nozzle setting or narrow tip, or you may end up clearing both ears at the same time.

I used to have a problem with that I kept getting ear infections that simply itched. You know how I solved it? My dogs had a similar problem, and I once used their medication on myself.

Haven't had a problem since. I forget the name of the medication, but I did look it up, apparently some of it's side effects are possible seizure.

That sounds like you both had ear mites. Not sure that is really possible for humans to get such ear mites, though.

Why did France, England and Germany go back on lockdown?

Because Trump mismanaged the epidemic there too!

Almost at 20,000 deaths in Texas alone. Thats about the entire US flu death last year. Thank goodness Nov 3rd came.

You do realize covid is not the cause of death, right?

But I thought

Highly doubtful.
20   clambo   2020 Nov 6, 5:43pm

Good, I want to see bodies in the streets. Let’s get those numbers up.

Oh, but the CDC says only 6% of the dead were healthy and 94% had 2+ “co-morbidities” (sick).

Statistically, stairs kill about as many people as Coronavirus. At least there are treatments for the virus, if you fall down the stairs and break your neck you’re dead.

Ah, yet another conspiracy theory to deflect an unpleasant reality. How many conspiracy theories do you subscribe to?

"See! Germany has such low deaths from COVID"

Because they're counting deaths pretty much the same way as the CDC did when they broke off healthy people from the old and sick. They're only counting healthy people with one or none comorbidities as deaths.

Most of the world, inc. us, is counting anybody with COVID markers in them, even if they died of cancer or a heart attack, as COVID deaths

unpleasant reality.

What's so "unpleasant" about some number of mostly asymptomatic "cases"? It makes you feel bad?

BTW their # of new cases adjusted for population is 2x of US now.

I subscribe to no "conspiracy" theories or made up terms. You don't care and won't believe it anyway and I'm not at liberty to risk people's jobs I consider friends. I know what you don't and that is scary. I get it. Keep drinking the kool-aid though. This isn't even about Trump, though I know you want to politicize it. Has zilch to do with politics. You're being fed a bunch of lies and eating it up.

Why did France, England and Germany go back on lockdown?

Fascistic tendencies.
26   Onvacation   2020 Nov 7, 8:22am

Are they going to start arresting paddle boarders again?

People die and masks and locking down healthy people have very little positive effect and awful economic and social effects.

If I were a conspiracy theorist I might think Covid-19 is a worldwide effort to reset the seriously troubled money system and institute a police state to combat "the invisible enemy".

So you're saying COVID is a conspiracy and that the virus isn't real?

No one has said that on this site. It's a detectable virus, yes. Can it kill you, yes. Is it deadly to completely healthy people, no. Should we shut down the economy for the old, weak and unhealthy lazy people, no. Given the current spike, do masks work, no. Cases on average have been rising since mask mandates. Is this a new flu bug that will have a mostly ineffective vaccine, yes. These are facts. No conspiracy. Dispute one of these statements.

But I thought it was just another global conspiracy to make Trump look bad.

I gotta say, that graphic is amazing. More minimalist than an icon, and uses the drawing skills of a toddler in Microsoft Paint, but the image portrays an exact emotion and understandable facial expression. That took artistic talent.

Why do you need your ear wax cleaned? How do you know if you need it?

Water will accumulate and not flow out of the ears and eventually you either get an ear infection but usually long before you start hearing less and less and having the constant pressure in your ear like when you just got out of the ocean or swimming pool. That's where you know its time ;) I can pay $150 for it every 1-2 years. The ear is fickle and you don't want to mess with it if regular methos fail.
31   Karloff   2020 Nov 7, 7:50pm

My city is going into complete panic mode about the number of cases as well. Every time there's mention of deaths, it's a small handful and it's folks in their 80's and 90's.

I ask people who bring the number of cases up in conversations how many of these cases:

a) Even show symptoms
b) Have symptoms severe enough to require hospitalization, and then what the age and health of these people were before they caught it

Nobody I've asked knows. These stats aren't provided, apparently. Yet, they are critical in determining risk and response.

This lack of transparency and constant fear-mongering (you can get it twice! you could face life-long, debilitating side-effects!), plus a history of constant lying from media and government, have resulted in my not trusting ANYTHING these people put forward.

I skimmed an article this week (while working) quickly that suggested it has an impact on dementia. So when you're in the old folks home make sure there is a provision in there to keep your ears clean.

Makes sense. You're very old, sensory info to your head jelly isn't what it used to be, then sound gets cut off. Not a good situation.

Bright side is it was apparently at least somewhat recoverable by cleaning the ear holes.

Dr. Birx predicts up to 200,000 U.S. coronavirus deaths 'if we do things almost perfectly'

March 30, 2020, 11:58 AM UTC
By Ben Kesslen
The White House coronavirus response coordinator said Monday that she is "very worried about every city in the United States" and projects 100,000 to 200,000 American deaths as a best case scenario.

She's a cunt even if things were close to perfect. Seasonality has gone out the window. How many people have died from the flu in the last 50 years? Ahhhhhhh, these docs don't want to answer that. Likely millions. Oh well. Let's focus on CV-19 while we let regular flu patients die. lol. This whole thing is hysterical.

Oh give it up. Corona ceased to be a thing November 3rd.
In Georgia COVID will last until the day after the runoff election. Got to steal the senate, too.
