Have you tried adding a plain old antenna? If you are new a major town you will get about 30 channels, including all major networks. Won't give you FNC or CNN, though.

Be sure to block the ads on YouTube with uBlock or similar.

Also, if I watch YouTube, I do it via the Tor browser to Google can't splooge trackers all over my regular browser.

I wish there were a way to automatically export videos from YouTube to BitTorrent, or to some other site which is not compiling a dossier of everything you watch and linking it to your location, email contents, etc.

I didn’t want to bother with an antenna. YouTube TV has local channels anyway and I added Starz and Showtime movie packages. It’s great.

I’m referring to YouTube TV, which is different than YouTube. YouTube TV is a full featured replacement for Cable including unlimited cloud DVR. Local channels, network channels, sports and premium movie packages. It has changed my life. Spectrum TV’s user experience was a disaster, but I kept their Internet because it’s fast.

If that were true, why the need to censor and hate-crime label one "extreme" view but celebrate the other? Most people in the US are heterosexual Christians but the content is disproportionally homosexual and anti-Christian.

There’s actual active efforts in academia and science communities to NOT conduct such studies.

Amazon HBO opened up for a new Nancy Drew movie. Looked like Nancy Drew broke juvie lesbo in this movie. As I recall, the original character was a 30's girl teenage detective. Stopped watching after the first ten minutes or so. Usual inclusion overdose.

Unfortunately, I disagree. Jack Ryan was awesome but we haven't found much else worth watching on Prime, so we end up on Netflix more often than not. Also, Roku and Prime do NOT interact well together. Our video and audio was crappy even though I have a 400MB Internet connection, and I have zero issues with any other Internet app or service we use including YouTube TV, Netflix, etc. Amazon needs to STOP throttling video/audio streaming through Roku and trying to drive users to their Fire Stick. This is a recent known issue on the Internet and users are pissed. So, I'm kinda boycotting Prime as a result.

Maybe it’s just push back from decades of Leave It To Beaver and Brady Bunch style TV. Netflix is garbage. They came out with a four part series about video games. They gave a ridiculous amount of time to tranny and a shit ton to a gay guy that made some stupid gay game that nobody has ever heard about. Every netflix show has gay agenda pushed its even in the cartoons.

Oddly enough, we have Netflix so the youngins' in the house can watch Odd Bods.
It's the only program they want to watch on Netflix. When they grow out of it, my Daughter will cancel the service. I canceled it about 5 years ago, then she started paying it.
She's now agrees that Netflix is crap and she never watches it anymore. She said she would cancel but the wee ones use it for Odd Bods.

Lots of them migrating down here in San Diego, probably because housing is cheap compared to anywhere N of San Clemente. I recently visited San Francisco and it seemed much more conservative than when I visited in the 90s. I'd be curious to know if there has actually been a demographic shift.

I also found it to be very clean, somewhat different than what I had been expecting from some Pat.net posts. The last time I visited, I really did see human shit all over the place. I think they have been trying to clean the place up and are slowly realizing their political ideology doesn't work in the real world.
