Ok, it's been said before but I'll say it again.

I see myself as a creative and intelligent person who, if born rich, would be a Renaissance man doing my own research, engaging in numerous activities.

Thus, my goal in life is to become independently wealthy and do the above.

Now, since many of my pals have had children and so forth, I'm absolutely astonished at how lame and boring these kids are. At best, they parrot TV shows and break toys, to the best of their abilities. In contrast, when I was a kid, I was dreaming of writing screenplays, inventing a lightsaber, and so forth.

Yes, my parents squashed my dreams and made me think of engineering, accounting, and so on but at least when I got started, I had bigger dreams.

But now, I've come to accept these facts. Yes, for the most part, children are lame and at best, one can hope that they don't get in trouble with the law or sleep in your basement for life. Those parents, whose kids are the next Alexander Hamilton or Buckminster Fuller, are the fortunate ones.

With that said, I have no incentive nor motivation to have my own. When I'm an old man, I'll be like Frank Lloyd Wright, constantly writing down ideas and working on things of interest without having a lifelong kid/adult sleeping near my study spaces.

As for female victimhood, well I have a more nuanced view of it: compared to being born a man, being born a woman is somewhat of a victimhood: how would you feel about walking around like a hormone bucket for 30 years, bleed every month for the same length, and cramping pain every few months?

All for what? the exercise of those two tickets!

You guys see the cost of everything but none of the value. Sheesh, talk about a bunch of pessimists committing genetic suicide.

It has nothing to do with politics. We live in a world where people must be ultra defensive: be on constant guard for your job and your money. We are producing individuals who are so wrapped up in THEIR money, THEIR lives, THEIR control, THEIR grandiose vision of their own worth they are unable to relate normally to other human being: making a real commitment and sacrificing their times and resources to care for others. That's true for women and men.

202   Reality   2014 Jul 11, 4:07am

Very true, Her clitorus student, sharing a baby without giving her perverse incentive to take over your life in order to prevent your straying goes a long way towards promoting good behavior in a woman.

A woman sacrifices a lot in baby making, yet she is biologically and emotionally predisposed towards it, just like men are drawn to having sex. There is a genetic programming for her to get as much from her man as possible, both to ensure the prosperity of her offsprings and prevent potential rivals. You just have to set the parameters in such a way that her status and support are secure, yet any grasping behavior would not be rewarded.

In a modern western society, that framework is outside of marriage, but via some kind of generous child-support agreement.

The more I read stories about teen mothers smothering their babies the more I think every human female should get an IUD after her first period.

IUDs aren't perfect. Ask my friend. The failure rate is actually surprisingly high compared to birth control pills.

204   StillLooking   2014 Jul 11, 4:33am

The last thing our earth needs is more human beings.

205   Reality   2014 Jul 11, 4:38am

I'm not talking about more human beings. Each woman is more or less destined to have two babies on average in a modern western society (population maintenance level of reproduction; actually slightly declining due to small but non-zero child mortality). It's a matter of whether these two kids in the next generation will grow up to be productive members of the society or counter-productive ones.

Highly intelligent, productive and consciencious men like Rin have a much higher probability of raising productive members of society than the pants-dragging knuckle-walkers would.

206   dublin hillz   2014 Jul 11, 5:07am

Whether one decides to have kids or not, the key to happiness is to focus on the positive side of the opportunity cost and this concept is clearly in place when deciding whether or not kids are in the future. DINK lifestyle has obvious advantages in terms of money, free time, opportunity to travel and focus on individual/couple interests. That's not to say that having kids should doom someone - I think a lot of parents, especially the well to do ones tend to have this belief that they should change their lifestyle to focus on the children lest they be considered bad parents. But there's no reason why it should not be the other way around - children should fit into your lifestyle as far as it's practical and feasible.

Here are the drugs I'm on today ... one 200mg caffeine pill & one 16 oz bottle of Sprite. I'd hate to think of what you're on.

Given that that cocktail induced you down the rabbithole with a supply-side sociopath, I'd try to tweak the dosage.

Agree. Either you need more caffeine or less caffeine. Not sure which.

Also, drink lots of pineapple juice so you can offer her a sweet package!

Then make more babies to enable economy of scale for your own home school. By cashing out the pair of tickets from more than one women if necessary, being honest and supportive of each, of course, if you can afford it.

New Renter, this one is for you. Execute pick 'n roll.

I'd love to but I can't make heads or tails of this one!

Economy of scale? WTF?!

Sounds like you're about to go David Koresh, put together a harem of zombie wives and found your own Zion out in the desert somewhere.

The FBI will be with you presently.

Not interest in harem, not interested in religion, not interested in desert, not interested in FBI either. Just date one woman at a time, like normal guys do, except without the pregnancy phobia.

Wow you really put a lot of value on the quality of your man-juice don't you?

I dunno if the rest of society would agree.

Not my man-juice per se, but the proper raising of a child under my paternal right to know and supervise . . . unlike the welfare recipient households where the kids are raised in atrocious conditions despite my tax money subsidizing it, because none of us have any right to know what's going on inside their houses.

cynn says

Like I said, it's not about my man-juice. If I can inspire another middle-class or upper middle-class family to have another child, to be raised under proper parental supervision, so much the better!

216   thenuttyneutron   2014 Jul 11, 12:16pm

I am not convinced that the women having kids with loser males will matter in the long term. There really are no corrective forces now for this tragic setup. This may not be the case in the future. The people that have a fewer kids but invest heavily in them may actually win out in the end because they will have the skill sets for thriving in a tough environment when those corrective forces return.

An even more stark example of pay-off matrix modifying female sexual selection without massive die-off can be found in the "lightening" of African American complexion vs. their African ancestors and cousins left behind in Africa. The African Americans are much lighter in skin color as a result of only 300 years or so of racism conferring social advantages to those with lighter skin color. That was sufficient to change skin color of the population to such an immense degree that a substantial segment of the population already "crossed over" and self-identify as "white" for many decades now. All this took place without massive die-off. Of course selecting for skin color is rather frivolous, but selecting for intelligence and good work ethics instead of drug-addled sloth would have positive social value.

Rin,

We took our daughter to Great America yesterday to watch Frozen on the big screen. This morning, I kissed her on while she's still sleeping. Best feeling ever. There are certain thing in life money can't buy, and this is one of them.

Like I said before. You don't know what you don't know. Nieces and Nephews are not the same, not even close. Úm ùm um.

The way things are today, the planet would be better off without humans. I am not a biblical scholar, and the movie may not be the best source at all, but I just saw Noah, and that is exactly what God thought at that time, according to the story.

This Saturday is a work weekend for me. Basically, it sucks.

Not too long ago, however, I had that perfect Saturday.

I was staying at a four star hotel in Montreal's downtown.

I woke up after 10:30, went to the hotel gym and used the exercise bike along with some weights.

After showering, I met up with a Canadian buddy for lunch.

And then, after lunch, I started working on another friend's screenplay. I was helping out by ghost writing two of the chapters.

By late afternoon, I went to a Martial Arts demo and participated in some of the drills and tutorials. Afterwards, had dinner with the crew there.

Upon returning to the hotel, I went back to the screenplay. I started sharing some of my work with my writer friend via IM. We did some brainstorming and I went back to making edits.

By late evening, a busty svelte dancer arrived at my room. We completed our workout with my pole sliding between her knockers. We had a few Martinis and went for a second round. I won't describe anymore.

When the day was over, all I could say was … I feel good!

Sir,

You were once a child, and yes - maturation takes more time. Even more time in the era of Entitlement/convenience/ease/credit. I was once a democrat, - I have repented and now am at a small firm, working on R&D, having patents, working on saving lives and clean energy. I do this for my child, and all the children in the world.

More than random mixing. The drastic lightening is due to social promotion leading to selective mating under racism.

Comes to think of it, the very reason why difference races emerged was largely due to female selective mating to begin with! Or for that matter probably human intelligence itself!
