Iryna Zarutska, who fled war-torn Ukraine for a safer life in America, was on the Lynx Blue Line just before 10 p.m. Aug. 22 when she was ambushed, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

The surveillance footage, released Friday by the Charlotte Area Transit System or CATS, shows Zarutska boarding the train in her pizzeria uniform at 9:46 p.m. and sitting, looking at her phone, unaware of the danger behind her.

It occurs to me that the reason Iryna died is that she was not acutely aware of the danger of being near black men like that guy, because she didn't grow up here, where black people murder whites and Asians every day and everyone knows it, even with the 100% media blackout.

If she had had the stereotype correctly imparted to her, she would not have sat in front of him.

So the corporate media "do-gooders" hiding black crime because it "perpetuates stereotypes" are themselves causing people to die from black violence.

The stereotype is true. Black men, especially rough looking ones, are vastly more likely to kill you than anyone else is. It is a matter of public safety to tell everyone this, and to promote the stereotype.

I know the counterargument will be "But many innocent black men will be suspected and avoided, hurting their feelings." True, but they won't be dead from that, and Iryna is dead now, just to protect those men's feelings.

Yesterday, forced against its will to report the story by a social media firestorm, a surly New York Times ran an article headlined, “Ukrainian Refugee Stabbing in North Carolina Ignites a Firestorm on the Right.” In other words: Republicans pounce! The Times included zero pictures of the maniac who killed her, Decarlos Brown Jr.. But here he is:




Never mind Decarlos. Hilariously, Politico’s version of the story didn’t even include a picture of the poor victim. Politico pictured only President Trump.

The “Republicans Pounce!” narrative is a distracting media trope they trot out whenever there’s a story embarrassing or damaging to Democrats. Like clockwork, corporate media let this story stew for a couple days, so that they could report the public outrage —rather than report the Charlotte, NC murder of a defenseless Ukrainian refugee and pizza parlor employee, Iryna Zarutska, on public transportation, by a murderous maniac with multiple priors who’d recently been released without bail.

As recently as January, Mr. Brown was arrested but turned loose just days later by Magistrate Teresa Stokes. Magistrate Stokes allowed Brown to sign a written ‘promise to appear’ at future hearings and let him go with no bail. Tellingly, neither the Times nor any other media has confirmed whether Brown ever showed up for his hearings. I’m guessing not. I’d even make a bet.



The Times, maybe not incorrectly, claimed that the story only went viral because of Charlotte’s ‘excellent’ trainboard video system (for safety!), which documented the cold-blooded murder. The painful truth is that white folks are more likely to be murdered by a black assailant than the other way around. ...

But —despite the Times’s best attempts to divert the narrative— this story is about the state of crime in America, even if the Times claims that’s just politics.

Iryna’s story is especially relevant as a broader crime and public policy case, not just because a terrible, unjustified murder occurred, but because the perpetrator’s actions strongly suggest it was caused by a lack of fear or expectation of punishment after Decarlos’s earlier encounters with the justice system.

In progressive euphemism-speak, repeat offender Decarlos Brown was a justice-involved individual.

The Times dropped enough rhetorical breadcrumbs to allow its readers to conclude this is a mental health story. He lacked mental health treatment! But nothing in the extensive video suggests Decarlos was crazy. For example, he attacked Iryna from behind, without warning, using the best tool for the job. Then he exited the train to avoid the temporary inconvenience of getting caught and processed.

If Decarlos were crazy, he would’ve attacked an oncoming police car holding a yellow squash. In that case, they might have a vegetative talking point. But not here.

Despite its appearances, it seems to me the racial dimension here isn’t so much about skin color, as it is about Democrats’ anti-civilizational psychological programming. Take any random young man. Teach him from birth, over and over, that he will never succeed because another group of people is oppressing him out of hatred and prejudice. How angry is that young man likely to be? How long until he lashes out, one way or another? How much will he reject the oppressive social conventions he’s been taught to despise?

Now combine that anarchic rage with liberation from norms— by teaching the young man that, when he does lash out, he won’t be punished, but will be reassured, over and over, it wasn’t his fault because of systemic racism.

When you blend those two Democrat pyschological programming techniques, what do you get? You get innocent young women murdered on train cars “for no reason,” that’s what.

Oh, there’s a reason. It’s not an enigma, either. The reason Iryna died is that Democrats turned Decarlos Brown into a murderous thug using lifelong psychological programming. They made a monster— on purpose. Decarlos and his many victims never stood a chance.

Combining constant victim messaging with relaxed consequences is deeply destructive. It produces alienation, resentment, and a steady escalation of destructive acts— especially when people are told by Democrats both that the world is against them and that their bad choices are justified and have no consequences.

Do not be distracted by all the side issues. This story is about the clear endpoint of Democrats’ reprehensible race-baiting tactics stewed into their no-bail policies, which effectively erase black punishments for all but the most serious crimes. Had Mr. Brown actually been punished for his previous lesser crimes, Iryna would one day have returned to Ukraine, outside of a body bag, and Brown might have had a prospect of life outside prison.

Yesterday, the Department of Justice announced it was wrestling Decarlos Brown out of the Mecklenberg County Judicial System’s warm embrace in an official DOJ statement titled, “Justice Department Charges Light Rail Attacker with Federal Crime.”

The single federal charge of causing a death on mass transportation is itself death penalty eligible, which means Declarlos Brown, Jr., could soon ride a completely different kind of rail. US Attorney General Pam Bondi promised that prosecutors will seek the maximum criminal sentence, stressing that Brown “will never again see the light of day as a free man.”

In case you missed it, a gruesome security video emerged this week showing the final destination of Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska, 23. Iryna held a recent degree in art and restoration from the University of Kiev, and hoped to become a veterinary assistant. She’d been living in a bomb shelter before fleeing to North Carolina, where she gained employment at a local pizza parlor. While riding home from work last week on Charlotte’s public light rail system (a kind of overground subway), she was heinously attacked from behind in a most cowardly fashion by Declarlos Brown, a fourteen-time “justice-involved individual,” who suddenly and unexpectedly loomed up and slashed her throat using a pocketknife.

Brown, dripping Iryna’s blood, can be seen exiting the train and heard repeatedly crowing, “I got that white b-tch!” Democrats instantly denied any racial aspect to the crime. They’ve been musing that we may never know the cause, and suggesting more money for Democrat-run mental health services. Of course, they would say that, since Democrats were the actual proximate cause of Iryna’s death, as I explained yesterday.

A groundswell of outrage filled social media, shaming corporate media into belatedly covering the story —18 days after the fact— but reporters finally did it, like the surly children they are. “Woman’s Stabbing Death Becomes MAGA Talking Point,” one Wall Street Journal headline resentfully reported (though the headline was later revised, after widespread mockery).

Now, Decarlos is getting all the attention he richly deserves. Yesterday, the President issued a video statement. The White House held a press conference. The DOJ charged Brown, ensuring he won’t be released again after signing a “promise to appear.” Republicans demanded the firing of Mecklenberg Magistrate Teresa Stokes, the most recent judge to inflict Brown back onto the Charlotte community, and who isn’t even a lawyer. For her part, Ms. Stokes seems to have gone into hiding.

Readers wondered how magistrates can be allowed to decide things like releasing violent criminals without bond if they haven’t even passed the bar. The short answer is that a “magistrate” position is defined by local law. Magistrates help judges by relieving some of the less demanding judicial workload. In theory, they must be supervised by local judges. In practice, their courtrooms are the wild west of the law; a bizarro-world combination of Night Court and Judge Judy.

In Mecklenburg, magistrates’ salaries are set between $56K and $100K, depending on years of service. Obviously, at a starting salary of $56K, Mecklenburg is not getting a lot of applications from practicing lawyers. Not good ones, anyway. According to its website, Mecklenberg has 38 listed magistrates, including Ms. Stokes, a mental-health services activist and NGO parasite who is utterly unqualified for the job (she got a law degree from Cooley Law School, but couldn’t pass the bar).

The story continues developing. A pent-up, completely necessary, and unavoidably ugly discussion of systemic reverse racism is volcanically erupting on social media. To paraphrase myself, we can kill Decarlos (and probably should), but that won’t kill the problem. We must hang the Democrats’ marxist, anti-civilizational playbook, which created Decarlos Brown in the first place.

I would not put it past TPTB to kill Charlie Kirk just to distract from Epstein.

But then, they didn't really need to, because the murder of Iryna Zarutska.

Consider this: Aside from Mariupol, the war in Ukraine has directly caused around 11 civilian deaths per 100,000 people every year since the Russian invasion in 2022. That is less than the intentional homicide rate of the city where Zarutska was murdered in August.

And Charlotte is far from the most dangerous place our young Ukrainian could’ve fled to. Detroit (32/100,000), Baltimore (35/100,000), San Juan (37/100,000), Memphis (48/100,000) and New Orleans (54/100,000) are all vastly worse. To put it as bluntly as possible – and with as little racial sensitivity as I dare – the U.S. black population is largely responsible for imposing on many American cities a civilian homicide rate equivalent to or far exceeding that seen in a modern country fighting a war on its own territory.

This fact has made the progressive American political establishment crazy, and they have developed an entire ideological system to avoid confronting this terrible, ruthless reality. They suppress stories of black violence and desperately promote quite rare and exceptional cases of white-on-black crime to invert the hated truths before them. When they are forced to acknowledge inconvenient stories like Zarutska’s murder, they insist that these are also the fault of white Americans because of things that happened generations ago and for which no living person bears any responsibility. All of this vile excuse-peddling, these blind rehearsals of antiracist ideological nostrums, and these unceasing, desperate searches for responsible parties and factors beyond the obvious ones – all these are psychological reactions arising from cognitive dissonance, finally sublimated into a quite pathological ideology.

The Charlotte authorities sat on the video for weeks. When it was originally released we were only shown edited clips. The first video we saw cut off just before the stabbing, jumping ahead to footage of Decarlos wandering about in a daze, blood spattering the floor, as Iryna slumped dead in her seat.

It is not only important that you watch that video. Everyone you know needs to watch that video, too.

Do not turn your face away.

You must confront this.

Look at her expression as the knife draws across her throat. The surprise, the confusion, the shock and the incomprehension and innocent hurt that pass across her face, the way her hand goes to her mouth, then covers her eyes in grief as the life pours out of her body, her last moments lost in abject loneliness as the final darkness closes in.

I want to you to put yourself in her place, to empathize with her, to imagine what it was like to be Iryna during those final moments.




Decarlos Brown’s half-brother is also career criminal with a rap sheet as long as his arm. So was their father. One cannot help but observe that if the father had been removed from the gene pool before he could spill his cursed seed, every single victim of his monstrous sons would have been spared.

Brown himself is an intellectually deficient schizophrenic vagrant who rambles on about ‘material’ implanted in his body that makes him do things at the behest of malign forces. To the American justice system, this means that he is incompetent to stand trial, and cannot be held responsible for his actions. Punishing him for his crimes would be cruel: he needs assistance, psychiatric counselling, medication, housing, welfare. Punishing crime does not address the root cause, we are told, and the root cause is of course purely socioeconomic factors.

Because of the indulgence shown to these animals, the warm ray of sunshine that Iryna Zarutska brought into the world is gone forever, never again to brighten the lives of her friends, her family, her neighbours’ pets, the elderly whom she cared for.

But we still have Decarlos Brown, Jr. Isn’t that a wonderful thing?

This, we are told, is ‘social justice’.

Iryna was not a racist. Silly creature that she was, as young women tend to be, she had a Black Lives Matter poster in her room. She no doubt went through her short life assuming the best of people and, being pretty and cheerful, it’s likely most people treated her well. Young, pretty girls tend to live in a bubble formed by the halo they emanate.




There are some people who have stated that we should not care about her death, because she had a BLM poster. That she got what she deserved, that, as we so often hear, ‘she voted for this’. These people are very stupid. She had these silly ideas in her head because they had been put there by evil men and women who have worked for generations to convince silly young girls that all good people believe such things, knowing full well as they do that silly young girls desire nothing more than to be thought good and can be made to believe any nonsense by manipulating this instinct. For this, silly young girls should be given a roll of the eyes and a pat on their silly little heads.

They don’t deserve to have their throats slit for it.

But slit throats of beautiful young white women are certainly the goal of the people who propagate ‘anti-racism’. POSIWID: the Purpose Of a System Is What It Does. Iryna’s death didn’t match the narrative, you see. There was no confrontation. She was not rude to her assailant. There was not even the possibility that she might have said ‘nigger’ to her murderer, a blasphemy that all liberal bien-pensants agree is far worse than mere homicide. She was simply sitting there, quietly, on her phone, in her own world, going home, keeping herself to herself, only to be butchered by a madman whose simple mind had been packed full of racial hatred by the media. When the online explosion of grief and righteous fury forced the media to finally cover the story, they adopted the line that white people talking about the murder was the real crime, that it was part of a pattern of ‘egregiously exaggerated stories about black criminality’ (where I have removed the capitalization of ‘black’ that the AP style guide continues to insist upon, just as as it continues to insist that ‘white’ be denied such grammatical deference), and that the real risk was that it might incite retribution by white supremacists. ...

Iryna is not dead because Decarlos Brown was crazy. She is dead because, since the 1960s, American society has been held in a vice grip by subversive race communists who have undermined the judicial system, lied to the American people, viciously prosecuted whites in the courts of public opinion and law whenever members of the disfavoured race imagined that they had some sort of right to defend themselves, and filled the heads of blacks with racial hatred, all as part of a deliberate strategy to weaponize America’s negro population against it while rendering America’s white population defenceless against the relentless racial assault. ...

In the case of Decarlos Brown, as in all such cases, these systemic factors have names. First there is magistrate judge Teresa Stokes, who let Brown go without bail in January of 2025, following the most recent of his arrests.




I do not for a moment imagine that Stokes, Chin-Gary, or Archie care in the slightest that Iryna is dead, any more than the five blacks who were present for Iryna’s last moments. Blacks as a whole have shown no sign whatsoever that they are troubled by this. Here’s YouTuber ‘the amazing Lucas’ complaining that ‘they turned her death into a propaganda machine’, in which he says “I talked to 99.9% of black people about this story, and it’s horrible, I think we all agree on that, and they wanted me to give a message ... I’m here to talk to the white ignorants out there, and I want you to know, we are deeply uncaring. That is correct. We don’t care, bruh...” Lest you think that’s a one-off, here’s the official Black Lives Matter TikTok channel posting that “oppressed people have a right to violence, like they have the right to pee.” Iryna may have thought that Black Lives Matter, but black lives do not seem to agree that her life mattered.

Remember when Karmelo Anthony stabbed Austin Metcalf in the chest, and the black kahmyoonitay came out to shovel five hundred thousand dollars into Anthony’s GoFundMe? While taking to social media to claim that Metcalf had it coming because he laid hands on an innocent scholar who dindnuffin wrong, and besides which, it was raining outside and how dare Metcalf tell Anthony to leave a tent he wasn’t supposed to be in? This is how they think. Violence against white devils is not a crime in their eyes. It’s just a bit of sport, fun for the whole family.

Almost without exception – by which I mean that I have seen no exceptions, though of course I have seen only the screenshots that people have shared, and cannot rule out that there are a few, for all that I doubt it – they are exulting in Kirk’s death. There is no surprise to this. The left is vicious, and to take pleasure in the death of an enemy may be the only healthy instinct they have left. I’m not even angry at them for that. I expect nothing else from them. Nevertheless, the gloating pleasure the left takes in Kirk’s death only serves to underline that dialogue is dead. ...

The people have seen the left for what it is, a malign force that delights in their humiliation, that glories in their annihilation, an influence whose special talent is to take the best impulses of people and twist them into something self-destructive and foul. By shooting Charlie Kirk in the throat and then celebrating this fact, the left has made it abundantly clear that they are no longer interested in dialogue. The time for talking is over.

Kirk’s assassination is also an important reminder that, whatever the left says, this story isn’t about ‘racism’, that it has nothing to do with ‘hatred for the colour of the skin’. The problem isn’t, at root, black people ... black people are what they are. They’re impulsive and simple-minded, and that means they can be easily twisted up into unstable balls of racial resentment and scattered about the streets like walking land mines. That isn’t their fault, it’s just their biology. ...

Personally, I think Trump’s administration should grab the opportunity and bring the full force of the US Federal Government down on the criminal organization that styles itself as the Democratic Party, together with all of its subsidiary and affiliate organizations – private foundations, NGOs, academic grievance studies departments. It goes without saying that the police, the judiciary, and the military should be purged of all leftist personnel. Identifying leftists is not difficult: unlike the right, they have felt no need to hide themselves, for they have been in power for the better part of a century. It’s been a tough week for our demon-haunted nation. First, video surfaces of the young Ukrainian woman, 23-year-old Iryna Zarutska, slaughtered by a homeless psychopath, one Decarlos Brown, Jr., on the Charlotte, NC, light rail — weeks after the crime happened, because Charlotte police suppressed the CC video and the legacy news media barely reported the story. Suddenly, the country is shocked by what they see: wanton murder witnessed at the scene by a half-dozen other transit riders, who don’t even react to the woman spurting blood as she topples to the floor and bleeds out.

“Progressives” hasten to cover for the psycho. He was mentally unwell and did not get the treatment he needed. Uh-huh. . . . Yet anyone with functioning brain knew the score at once. Decarlos Brown, Jr., was “justice involved” (arrested and convicted of crimes) more than a dozen times in recent years, including a five-year stretch for armed robbery. He was on-the-loose because of how the Democratic Party manages public safety, which is not at all. It allows the criminally insane to run free, but especially if they can be sorted into the “marginalized” minority basket to be presented as sob stories (George Floyd). ...

Of course, this was only days after disgruntled transgenderite Robert Westman — another product of Democratic Party ideology — shot up a catholic school in Minneapolis. Westman declared in his diaries that he’d learned to his disappointment that it is not really possible to change sexes and pretending was not good enough. That was perhaps the sole sane expression among his otherwise violently deranged writings. Westman was but one in a growing line of transgenders shooting up places, but his deed marked the end of the Democratic sex hustle, inflicting LGBTQ ideology on the schools and coercing the public to play along.

I remember when I saw black people with dread locks, they were the most peaceful happy go lucky people you could encounter.
Spiritual Rastafarians. But something changed sometime during the early 90's or after Bob Marley's death. Jamaicans with dreads were hardcore murderous cut throat gangsters. That was about the time our inner city black gang members started sporting the hairdo.
Now mostly when you see white or black people with dreadlocks, they have deep psychological issues, and are someone you should never turn your back to.
Just look at the black suspects these days in Car strikes on crowds, senseless shootings, mass shootings, cop killings. an over whelming majority of the time, they will have dreadlocks. White women and white men, have always been off trying to sport dreadlocks.

A schizophrenic black man’s choice to slay a white woman is not arbitrary. She is his symbol of evil, or perhaps undeserved privilege. “White” has a particular valence in his mind that is not attributable to schizophrenia; it’s pre-schizophrenic. And the existence of this symbol is directly downstream of decades of anti-colonial theory and narrative. Decades of public school education about the horrors of white civilization; coinages like “white privilege,” “white supremacy,” “white fragility;” decades of blank slatism, which can only conclude that disparities between white and black people are explained by white evil; all culminating in a personal mythos that, when activated by schizophrenia, marked Iryna Zarutska as “a person worth destroying.”

All of this is to say that every academic and talking head who has participated in the construction of this mythos has blood on their hands. It simply isn’t enough to apprehend the killer. The past century’s storytellers and symbol-weavers at the source of this sickness need to be treated like war criminals.

North Carolina Lawmakers Pass ‘Iryna’s Law’ to End Radical Cashless Bail Policies After Brutal Train Murder

The move is a response to the brutal stabbing death of young Ukrainian woman Iryna Zarutska in Charlotte last month.

The measure, named “Iryna’s Law,” passed the state House by a vote of 82–30.

It now heads to the desk of Democrat Gov. Josh Stein.

23-year-old Zarutska was murdered on August 22 in a shocking and unprovoked attack that was caught on security cameras.

Zarutska was killed aboard a light rail train by 32-year-old career criminal Decarlos Dejuan Brown Jr.

Brown has a long criminal history, but was repeatedly put back on the streets due to cashless bail policies.

The legislation would “eliminate the condition to release a defendant on a written promise to appear” and establish a procedure for evaluating defendants with suspected mental health issues for involuntary commitment.

Never has been. Don't use public transit. Even in a restaurant I'll request the seat furthest from the front door with my back to the wall if I'm in a place with a lot of blacks. Not joking. It sucks because the good black people can make really good food. Besides the food, I want to see the front door and whole restaurant.

Even in my honky town I'll get out at the gas station, start the pump, get back in and lock the doors. State highway runs through town, so there are a lot of randoms that stop. I'm always ready to start it up even if still pumping. The hoses are magnetic and will separate if you drive off. Just return your end of the hose after 20 minutes or so. Then they just snap it back together.

Good tip about the gas pump. My brother-in-law from Detroit told me that he always talks out loud to himself saying the craziest things possible when pumping gas in Detroit, just because of the danger of violence from blacks. He wants them to think he's crazy.

I see your point about being far from the front door, but you also want to be very close to an exit if there are black people around, so you can slip out quickly when the shooting starts.

I know folks who go to participate in paid drug detox programs...use the money to buy drugs. The for-profit non-profits make the money. Courts have stopped punishing these people because the supply of profitable drug abusers and people with mental problems exceeds the demand. Its about money.
