I have read in the past that informal inductive methods of estimating population put the population of the LA basin as high as 24 to 26 millions. That would mean every fourth or fifth resident could be illegal. Is this why the reconquistadors can be so arrogant? Of course, only a fraction of these would choose to be militant, but that would still be quite an army.

The California Teacher's Union, in order to remain a growth octopus, rely on illegals to open up new schools and get more funding. A community garden in Capitola was turned into a primary school not long ago, and Santa Cruz is NOT a growth area for families and children except by virtue of the illegal population.

Great job by the National Guard in Los Angeles after two days of violence, clashes and unrest. We have an incompetent Governor (Newscum) and Mayor (Bass) who were, as usual (just look at how they handled the fires, and now their VERY SLOW PERMITTING disaster. Federal permitting is complete!), unable to to handle the task. These Radical Left protests, by instigators and often paid troublemakers, will NOT BE TOLERATED. Also, from now on, MASKS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED to be worn at protests. What do these people have to hide, and why??? Again, thank you to the National Guard for a job well done!

The last president took a soft handed approach to immigration enforcement. Lots of people didnt like that. This president is taking a heavy handed approach. OK, that's what the president gets to decide. I don't agree? OK I'll vote.

Throwing rocks at ICE officers is crazy, Its assault and officers can defend themselves if they feel the need. We will have an Ashley Babbitt moment soon, and I will have no more sympathy for whoever that person is than I did for her.

I’ll note that the democrats are largely absolutely hysterical, calling President Trump a tyrant and fascist, neither of which is remotely true. The new one is dear that their “brown” kids will get deported(mind you, multigenerational US citizens) which is absurd. There’s no evidence whatsoever that people are getting arrested due to skin color.

City of LA has abdicated its role in keeping protests peaceful and the politicians there are actively supported by the same people funding these “mostly peaceful” protests. Law enforcement and the community at large cannot tolerate or allow its own officers to be physically and violently attacked. Time to remove the scum from society until they serve their criminal sentence.

Yup.

Those people are free to protest. Thats fine. They are free to stand there and say their thoughts. They can yell and scream that they dont like the policies. But the ones throwing rocks should get put in the jail cells vacated by the pardoned J6'ers.

Also, I am of the opinion that the local politicians should take a stronger and more visible leadership role in telling people how and how not to protest. Newsom should make clear that rule of law needs to be followed, even if people dont like the presidents policies. One of the main frustrations of people on the left regarding J6 was that Trump took a soft handed approach, was slow and soft in its condemnation, as if he sort of wanted it to happen. (not to mention the pardons). The Californian leaders should not repeat this tactic. They should be on the side of the law, and they should be vocal and visible as leaders.
