The organization’s Executive Vice President Trita Parsi played a key role selling the Barack Obama administration’s 2015 Iran nuclear agreement, formally known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), to legalize the terror state’s bomb. Its board includes Iranian American magnate Francis Najafi, who funds several prominent left-wing anti-Israel groups; Katrina vanden Heuvel, longtime editorial director of The Nation; and Stephen B. Heintz, president of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, among others.
