At least they didn't re-name it Fort Tranny instead of Fort Liberty.

Not sure this is a good idea. Installation names have no bearing on readiness and why antagonize by renaming a post after a Confederate general?

As it turns out, the fort is being renamed for a different Bragg. Not the Confederate general but a World War II hero Pfc. Roland L. Bragg, who was awarded both a Silver Star and a Purple Heart for his courageous actions during the Battle of the Bulge.
