LA Mayor Karen Bass announced an "immediate surge" in the number of security and law enforcement officers patrolling buses and trains on Thursday. Just a few hours later, a man was shot dead on a Metro bus in the city of Commerce. It marked the third homicide aboard a Metro bus or train since January.

Really idiot? Where exactly are those officers coming from? The 8600(less but that’s what’s on paper) officers that remain from your 10000 officer force that existed just 6 years ago? Do you ever wonder why your cops are retiring early and flee the state? Do you ever even once criticize Newsome, Bonta, or any of the other communists that hold statewide office? I gave you two years of chances Bass and that was 23 months too many. You suck, you lie, and you don’t care if people die.

For those of you unaware, each LAPD station covers an average of 200,000 people. As deployment stands there are watches with only one cop car deployed to some stations. Even in the heavy stations, often there is maybe only 3-4 cars deployed, manned by one officer each. What that means is every cop out there has to weigh in any stop they make, how long will it take for backup to arrive….and for some stations at traffic time, it’s 10-15 minutes, if at all. At least if the officer wants to live.

That’s what fucking Garcetti and Bass and the LA City Clowncil have left us.

Oh and the spillover into formerly safe areas that are now targets of crime from criminals in LA as well as the homeless spillover.

The voters in Los Angeles are among the very dumbest people to walk the planet.
