I don't think at this point the search engines are broken. But it is testament to the thorough censorship and deplatforming of Conservative dissent.

Use fucking Yandex

I now use Yandex myself, though I don't see how to make it the default in Brave browser.

I still have the default set to https://www.ecosia.org/ and it isn't bad, but doesn't seem to show politically incorrect results where Yandex does.

I usually use Yandex for anything where I don't want to wade through propaganda. Or at least Western propaganda.

Under: brave://settings/searchEngines

Name: Yandex
Shortcut: y (really anything)
URL: https://yandex.com/search/?text=%25s

Click add, it will go back to the main screen, click the ... and "make default".

There, Yandex is your default search engine. The steps are:



Click add to the right, you'll get this. Enter the same:



And then to make it a default, click the ... bar and select "make default"
