What do you mean she went nuts at 34? He entire career was to be "edgy". These are just methods of gaining attention. That's all a celebrity is, is a person that uses various methods to get people to talk about them, one of those is to be "nuts".

Do you think Britney Spears was playing with knives because she thought it looked cool or would draw attention to her?

They have to recreate themselves and their publicity image every seven years or so. David Bowie said so. She musta stayed by the telephone with no calls for a while then asked her agent for a makeover consultant.

True, its a slippery slope with promoting an "edgy" persona, which means more and more "edgy" behavior to sustain the audience's attention and interest .. analogous to an illegal drug addiction effect of having to take more and more dosages to realize enough of a high ...

Same goes with the rest of pop culture.

Celebrities wearing an upside down cross and giving visual approval to the devil are just par-for-the-course whereas that was freak culture even when Marilyn Manson was starting out.

I wonder what is next as far as their public displays, maybe in 10 years there will be satanic rituals like an animal sacrifice for the Superbowl half time show.
Gone would be the old days where they would give off subtle visual signs of being into the occult or illumanti sycophants.

I heard an oddity that a Hollywood celebrity was coming out as a hetero.

In 10 years, I really don't expect events like a super-bowl. Entertainment in general is in collapse.

Celebrities aren't really real any more. They are paid to be influencers, they influence teenage twats. Even when I was a kid, people didn't actually like the stupid music being created at the time, but the "popular kid" did and that was emulated.

Who is a movie star today?

Back 40 years ago, when there was ONLY television and films, people were stuck with that, just like they were stuck with "news" on television and newspapers. You want to know who I follow for information? The Corbett Report, Ryan Dawson, The Last American Vagabond, and sometimes The Duran, and Redacted News. I listen to Jimmy Dore for fun, as he points out what is on the propaganda box, and ridicules it.

The propaganda "news" industry is falling to pieces, it's all a pack of stupidity and lies, just endless arguments about trivialities. They make up situations to argue about, which is why "white supremacy" is in it, and "gender affirming care for children" - these aren't real issues, which is why these stupid, irrelevant issues are CONSTANTLY brought up. And they are bought up in "entertainment" as well, because our "entertainment" is really just propaganda.

Our news media is just the bird in the cage in the mine. It's all going to fall apart.

Consider this, people still know who Pink Floyd is, and The Who, a few other bands from the 60's. Name a band from the 1990's besides Nirvana. Name a performer from that time, that is still listened to by ANYBODY today? How about from the 00's?

Music industry is on its last legs, and there was a 6 month writers strike. Who noticed? Who cared?

Name a film, any blockbuster in the last 5 years? Name a new book. The age of fantasy is ending.

Given how vapid the original subject is, I've used some AI to create a human out of a monster ...

Now, that's better!

Though I can't quite get the eyes to match up.

Is the Super Bowl entertainment though? I agree Hollywood is in shambles. The super bowl will lose ratings but it's about the gambling. 100%. That's only going up currently. My dad gambled heavily. Never hurt the family. I vowed to never be that man. Guess what, almost every male you know is gambling on sports. Even if they don't say it.

Online gambling is worse than legalized weed by a long shot. So unless they make gambling illegal online, sports entertainment is here to stay. Might not be as strong, but it ain't going anywhere. I don't consume it, so I'm not biased. The super bowl in 10 years will be bigger than this last one. For sure.
