I don't get it. I'm done as early as possible and doing things that I enjoy as a side hustle. Woodworking, rehabbing campers, golf carts and flipping them, etc. Mindless, easy work. I don't trust anyone that refuses to mostly retire by 60. Yes there are sharp people older than that, but you're almost certainly out of touch with modern life. Fine be a cashier or waitress or something like that to put a little more money in the bank, but you start losing your mental capacity no matter how healthy you've been.

We've needed age limits on politicians on the top end for quite some time now. OR term limits that cap out at what would be a typical police officer or teachers career. Roughly 55-60. Basically you can't do the job for 40+ years for obvious reasons. Who and what do you owe?
