Some sellers have come to an understanding that the RV market has basically collapsed, others are yet to arrive at this inevitable conclusion.

The era of cheap money being over has consequences.

Good to know. I have been considering an RV.

Eh, it's like a boat. If you're handy and mechanical fine, but I don't think they're worth the effort. I prefer tents and a flatbed trailer with all our gear. I also don't think camping in an RV or travel trailer is actual camping. It's kind of gay to be honest. One thing to have cots or air mattresses in a tent, but an RV is just gay.

All my friends with travel trailers or RV's are still setting up by the time I'm done with my tent setup. I've got it down to 15 minute setup. Ain't happening with a TT or Rv.

They're good for touring the insides of tornados in real time, like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz.

Considering that the cost of a campground is as much as a hotel room right now, correct. Now as an alternative to other forms of housing, then yeah, living in a RV fulltime can be way cheaper than an apartment or house right now.

Just one more indicator of what's to come.

I'm looking for a 17 foot trailer that is relatively new (no more than 3 years) that costs no more than $15,000.

Want to keep it on 5 acres next to family home out west.

Don't know about other states - I looked in Georgia as well - but the lot rents are insane. $900. $700 in nowheresville on GA side of the FL-GA border in off season. A pre-Biden era interest rate and you've got $500 for the trailer. That's $1400 to live in an RV PLUS electric/utilities.

I hope they come down I want a small one that I can fit in my garage so I dont have to pay storage or worry about winterizing. Most the ones I look at are way overpriced for what they are. The guy down the street has one of these in his garage but I can't justify 30k+ but this is sort of what I want.
