Make leaving Cali like a bad divorce. Guess they take the law of Maritime Chattels seriously, that we are dead chattels that can be hypothecated and represent collateral. No dead chattels can leave without tribute to the State! The march to the Soviet with involuntary occupants and citizens (aka prisoners) proceeds apace.

It guess it never occurred to them to tell Soros to take a flying fuck at himself, establishing clean elections without machines and with personal identification, only mail in ballots in exceptional circumstances, not deputizing criminals, getting rid of KommieKunt subversive district attorneys, cleaning up the cities etc. etc. might work better than flogging the fleeing refugees on the way out.

This has been floating around for a while. From what I read it's only related to assets still held in California, or people who make way more than most of us. I filed California state taxes for the last time this past year, won't be filing next year, and won't be paying them shit.

I have a tiny Cal PERS pension and I am given to understand that I will always have to file California State income tax no matter where in the world I live.

The most important thing is that a law is passed forbidding any Federal Bailouts for State Pensions.

And requiring states to pay their pensions before current employees.

Muhahahaha! Divide and Conquer.

Think of all the political FUN that would create. AFSCME retirees vs. AFSCME employees, strikes by current employees until they get paid, etc.

How Illuminati that would be. Tit for Tat. What's a Tat, anyway? A tit for a tat sounds like an exchange to me. Or is that something hookers do at tattoo parlors?

What is the deal with TheRapists, anyway?

I think it's a job creation strategy for all the shitty unemployed Psych Majors as there aren't enough Starbucks Assistant Manager positions.

If you throw a rock in Santa Cruz, if it doesn't hit ten lesbians, it will hit ten therapists. You can always tell by their pseudo sympathetic and understanding shtick because they are all looking for clients (suckers). The gay German Communist up the street claims to be a 'therapist' when he is likely just conducting local recruitment meetings of the party.

Their best gig is getting in on social services in some manner. I guess instead of being kind, loving, ethical, giving and helping with your family and neighbors, people need some hand waving therapyfucks to indulge them in their narcissist victimization fantasies. I think a lot of them make a living inciting divorces by convincing the client that their evil spouses are holding them back from some nirvana of self realization and spiritual/sexual actuation.

Of course, there are a zillion schools of therapy for all the seekers out there, and I am sure some of the therapists don't require much education to get some kind of official looking diploma to hang on the wall. Probably some of them just have some forged thing they framed.

Ha, so true. "It's okay for me to be a selfish asshole because my TheRapist told me I have PTSD from seeing my hamster Fluffstuff get eaten by Whiskers the cat when I was a kid"

Congress passed a law making that shakedown illegal long ago.

On Jan. 10, 1996, Congress enacted the Pension Source Tax Act of 1996 (P.L. 104-94). This law specifically stipulates that, "No State may impose an income tax on any retirement income of an individual who is not a resident or domiciliary of such State." While the Source Tax law still allows individual states to define residency on their own terms, it prohibits any state from taxing non-residents for pensions earned within the state. If you earn a pension in Vermont, for instance, then retire to New York, Vermont may not tax your pension income.

This should make sense. Its scary that there are so many 'mental health programs' popping up lately. I always think all of them are scams to rob unsuspected victims.

I departed California in 2020.
They can't touch me now.
Want to really be shocked? sell your house in California to "get the equity out" .
You will be taxed up the ass.
