The wall is effective for drug and human smuggling.

Of course it's not the only thing that should be done.

Trump was the first and only candidate for president to directly address illegal aliens as a cornerstone of his campaign.

The wall is one security measure or layer just like a locked door for a house. ADT or Simplisafe security system is another security measure.

For border security its also sensors, drones (air and land), as well as border patrol agents driving in vehicles

I used to be 100% against illegal immigration, but seeing as how our birthrates are below replacement and so we need some form of immigration, it’s the best of a lot of shitty options.

If you go the H1B / Green Card route you get a lot of high skilled Asians. They are taking high paying jobs from the best trained Americans. In addition, they don’t share a judeo-Christian worldview. It’s a much harder population to assimilate.

If you go the illegal route, you get a lot of low skilled Hispanics. They are taking jobs (in large part) that don’t exist without them. For instance, without extremely cheap low skilled labor a lot more farming and processing jobs would be automated. Growing up middle class, no one had house cleaners, now it’s common for a middle class family to have a cleaning service. The house cleaners aren’t taking an American job, the job wouldn’t exist without them, people would just clean themselves and have dirtier houses.

Plus, Hispanics are Christian so value-wise they already assimilate easily into USA culture, and have been doing so for hundreds of years.

In case you think I’m racist about the assimilation thing, how many Indian (dot) women do you know who have married a white guy? How many Hispanic women do you know who have married a white guy?

I agree with @pudil here. USA should open its south border and let all mexicans in.
When India got independence they let churches continue with all their lands british built the previous 150 yrs. India should have broken all those churches and re-distributed those lands as hindus dont share judeo-christian worldview.

Even now many churches send money to third world countries including India. When the missionaries reach those countries they should be immediately eliminated so that the next batch will piss in their pants before they think of going to other countries.

Dont worry about it though once de-dollarisation comes into full affect there will be few people from asia flocking to your shores.

I should write sometime about how many females I know who came to the USA as either tourists or students (of English) in order to get married to stay.

I know many of them and I hate them all for what they did.
