Another great ruling by Trumps Supreme Court:

https://www.yahoo.com/news/news/u-supreme-court-strikes-down-140316138.html

June 29 (Reuters) - The U.S. Supreme Court on Thursday struck down race-conscious student admissions programs currently used at Harvard University and the University of North Carolina in a sharp setback to affirmative action policies often used increase the number of Black, Hispanic and other underrepresented minority groups on campuses.

The justices ruled in favor of a group called Students for Fair Admissions, founded by anti-affirmative action activist Edward Blum, in its appeal of lower court rulings upholding programs used at the two prestigious schools to foster a diverse student population.

Wasn't this settled in the "gay cake" ruling already?

This goes further, I think. It was Colorado's Civil Rights Commission, again. The Baker decision was Free Expression, this one is that any state's anti-discrimination laws don't trump the Freedom of Religion Clausefor "Expressive/Artistic Services".

So now it's got double protection, Free Expression and Freedom of Religion. Doesn't apply to generic services like a Hotel or Restuarant or Retail, buying premade goods or services, only to where the contracted party is adding some expressive or artistic gloss to the enterprise.

June 30 (Reuters) - In a blow to LGBT rights, the U.S. Supreme Court's conservative majority on Friday ruled that the constitutional right to free speech allows certain businesses to refuse to provide services for same-sex weddings, a decision that the dissenting liberal justices called a "license to discriminate."

I always lurk around patrick.net, but this time I had to log back in to say, fuck, yes! I'm proud of our fearless AMERICAN President, Donald J. Trump for working hard to place some God-fearing and American-loving justices on the Supreme Court. Yes, he made mistakes and he trusted some of the wrong people, but I don't know of anyone who has worked harder for our country. I attended a few of his rallies, sitting within a few fee from him, and he is dynamic and amazing as a speaker. I just love him. I pray he becomes our President again.

You should be able to spend your money how you want. Student loans shouldn't be forgiven by the government at all. BUT, you should be able to default on them and not pay them back, like any other credit. Universities and lenders would have a shit fit, but who cares.

It's a system to enrich educators that couldn't make it in the field they're teaching or for lenders to get locked in cashflow from kids that were taught nothing about finance unless from their parents. Really it shows that lenders have no faith in the education system to pay off. That same kid could buy a $50k car, not pay and they can at least repo that. Lender know it's likely impossible to get the money back if they default and rates would skyrocket.

Certain kids will do well with education. Others don't need it and won't do well in their field of choice. I know it's a wide range but 30-60% of kids won't graduate and will accumulate debt. College wasn't for me, but I had minimal debt. I did graduate, just not the best GPA. It was for a diploma to please my parents. Totally unrewarding in the end and useless.

Universities do NOT have the debt, the US federal government does.

Universities get immediately paid by the federal government, and the federal government is responsible for the debt. This is why universities don't care about being paid back, they've already been paid. This is why they will allow some kid take out a $200,000 loan to get a degree in gender queer "theory".

https://slaynews.com/news/michelle-obama-rebuked-by-princeton-classmate-ridiculous/

Michelle Obama was one of the many prominent figures on the Left to suffer a meltdown over the Supreme Court decision to end affirmative action.

The former first lady issued a scathing statement over the ruling, trashing the Supreme Court.

However, Michelle Obama’s ex-Princeton classmate, Rabbi Yaakov Menken, called her out over the statement.

“As a fellow Princeton student at the time Michelle Robinson [Obama] was there, I have to make a few comments,” Menken said.

“Her claim that she was one of the ‘few’ black students is ridiculous.

“Affirmative action was in full force, and the Third World Center was a popular campus destination for blacks, Latinos, Native Americans, and others.

“There were far more blacks than Jews, and there were not ‘a few’ Jews on campus. ...

“A good friend of mine told me openly, at Princeton, that he was happy with affirmative action ‘because I didn’t have the grades.’

“He was black, of course.

“And I couldn’t help thinking, ‘it’s great that you are here, but which student, that actually did have the grades, didn’t get to come to Princeton because they gave the spot to you?’

“I didn’t like that thought, like I said, he was a friend, but he just told me he really didn’t have the academic scores needed to get in, and that meant someone else was left out.

“Multiple times over the past few years we have read stories about a student getting into each and every one of the Ivy League schools.

“Without even opening the article, we knew the skin color of the student in question.

“Don’t tell me it’s racist to notice, blame the admission system.

“You knew it too,” Menken said.

“And, sadly, there was a recent story of an Asian student with an outstanding record of academic and extracurricular achievement, a first-generation American from an impoverished immigrant background, who got into none of the top schools.

“There is another good friend of mine who went to Princeton with me, my best friend since third grade.

“He didn’t need a special leg up, he was an academic performer.

“And now no one will look at future students like him and wonder if he got in due to the color of his skin or the content of his mind.

Geraldo's mother was Jewish but the article doesn't mention that for some reason.

The comments on her tweet are hillarious. All she had to do was delete her tweet, take a two week social media disconnected vacation, and return and things would have been mostly like it never happened.

But instead....she only feeds the fire!

All somebody needs to do is explain how she's wrong.

Not tell her she's stupid, not tell her she's a racist, not to tell her she's a bigot - nothing like that. Explain the error in her thinking.

These people are NOT bad people, they just don't know why they are wrong. Explain it to them, gently.

I guarantee she has no idea that her statement made it seem like "People Of Color" needed remedial help because they were inherently inferior. She genuinely believes, because of 12 years of indoctrination in public school, that non-white people were purposely disadvantaged. She doesn't know this isn't true. She's not a bad person, she's just a propaganda victim.

I've never once been informed of WHY diversity is so important. I do not believe it is. No, I believe, bigly, that the push for diversity is nothing more than a club to be used against a united society. At least that's what I believe our "betters" use it for anyway. If you remember, diversity was a public announcement by the government. Pushed no differently than they push anything (covid, transgenderism etc). Why and what role should government play in the makeup of the % of groups? It doesn't make sense to me.

Don't be fooled. More like "I tried to forgive your loans Jack, but the Trump nominated judges blocked me. Now you need to back me in packing the court and impeaching judges, plus work harder to elect more Dems."

Diversity is important for weakening the public so that they cannot agree on anything. Division allows oligarchs absolute rule without that pesky "democracy" ever really getting in the way. Divide et impera, as Caeser used to say.

It's also useful for weakening the public's attachment to the country. The more America becomes like the rest of the world, the less America is any separate thing at all. Certainly nothing worth fighting for. Oligarchs love that too. All they really want is rule by global corporations, with government just strong enough to enforce property rights for billionaires, and nothing else. Ideally they would even eliminate all countries and have one world government to enforce billionaire property rights.

One further step: if they can create a world central bank, then they can print unlimited money which can be used anywhere.

Or even further: a world central bank with unlimited digital currency would make them owners of everything on earth, with the ability to block all payments for anyone who opposes them.

The solutions:

- independent nations with strong borders, where most people are of the same ethnic group, all genetically interrelated to each other
- silver metal cash by weight not "dollars", with all other currency marked as mere promises of silver
- the hanging of everyone who mandated injections (this includes CDC "guidance" which is in fact a mandate) or who was involved in the creation of the virus; even merely talking about justice via hangings helps to protect us all

Nothing is more of a powerful position than working at a station on an assembly line.

WTF planet do these people come from?

One thing Mao was right about, send these academics to the farm, woodshed, etc. for a year to touch grass, plant corn, and chop some wood.
It would do them some serious good.
