The amount being "cut" is less than aid to Ukraine this year. More hoops to get SNAP benefits for working poor.

No elimination of Dept of Ed, or no brainers like ending all funding for CFPB, no spending cuts, just slowing the rate of growth.

Bad News for Americans: 98% of 87,000 IRS Agents are Here to Stay After McCarthy Caves in to Democrats

From the article:

Last week, Representative Lauren Boebert (R-CO) expressed her concerns and provided updates on the 87,000 Internal Revenue Service (IRS) agents, highlighting the Republican Party’s ongoing efforts to stop it from happening.

“Republicans are still trying to get rid of those 87,000 IRS agents who are going to audit everyone into oblivion,” Boebert said.

“Believe me when I tell you, no one that has money is going to have a problem with an audit. They have tax attorneys and accountants whose only job is to make sure they pay as little as possible using legal means.”

“The people that will suffer are those who are middle class, who make just enough to file but not enough to have some rich attorney comb through their returns,” Boebert said. “That’s who Biden wants to screw over to make sure Zelenskyy can get more and more money!”

This claim implies that middle-class Americans would face disproportionate challenges during IRS audits due to their limited financial means and lack of access to high-profile legal representation.

Does this mean we will have to quarter an armed IRS agent who will be sleeping with our women?

Don't give them any ideas that they haven't already thought up.

What makes you think that IRS agents want to sleep with women?

Most middle class returns are easy as kindergarden math, especially now that Trump has killed the fucking AMT and deductions are capped at $10K. So I don't get all the whining about it. They can audit somebody with a W2 and standard deduction all day every day and still get bubkes. It's the cash business types who might get anxious about it, but this is a tiny fraction of the middle class.

And drop the stupid Zelensky references: unless your name is Vlad Pukin he's not getting YOUR money - he's raiding the $350B of Soviet money stuck in the West.

I think it's 0.5% growth. It should be 0%

Oh, and student loan repayment deferment ended. Whoopee doo.

You know how this works:
"We have to take what we can get this budget or the Dem-Media will rake us over the coals, and it's election year next year or we'll lose power!"
Next budget:
"We have to take what we can get this budget or the Dem-Media will rake us over the coals, and it's election year next year or we'll lose power!"
The budget after that:
"We have to take what we can get this budget or the Dem-Media will rake us over the coals, and it's election year next year or we'll lose power!"

And the budget ends up growing substantially over and over again.

The only thing McCarthy really got was to make getting SNAP for working people harder after massive inflation

The last real budget cutting was under Gingrich, over 25 years ago.

I don't think he caved at all. It was never his intention to fight. Any idiot that sought to get him that position deserves to watch "their party" fail them.

1/2 The Limit, Save, Grow Act was a fiscally responsible and conservative bill. This Biden-McCarthy Debt bill is NOT what we signed.
I oppose the new deal and refuse to saddle Americans with $4T in additional debt.

2/2 It sets the record high emergency spending as baseline, eliminates debt ceiling through 2025, clawbacks are weak. $1.3B of $80B for IRS under IRA and Biden’s EO for student debt is still in the deal.
Encourage your Rep to vote NO if you care about Americans financial future

This is a rebuke against Jim Jordan, Matt Gaetz and Majorie Greene. All of which swore they would fight McCarthy tooth and nail and hold him accountable.
Now when his first test and he fails miserably. Those three bastards, are no where to be found. They weren't even part of the press conference this morning calling the bad bill out.

Looks like the only real warriors are Rosendale and that crazy lady with the glasses that looks like a stone cold Liberal freak but talks like the most conservative Politico in Washington.

@RepMattGaetz
Proud to join @RepKenBuck @RepAndyBiggsAZ @RepTimBurchett as the only Republicans in Congress who have never voted to raise the Debt Limit for this woke and weaponized government.

It seems they are all bought and paid for, or blackmailed and owned. It's so much political theatre.

Trump was, knowingly or not, supposed to lose to Hillary. He played his part too well and won. In spite of all his deep state advisors giving him bad advice he still strove to make decisions that helped Americans. Trump's biggest contribution may have been to call out fake news.

Our national debt is measured in national dollars. Our rulers can create as much fiat money as they want.

A stack of these bad boys will pay off the debt, fund reparations for all of the slaves, and give everyone in the government a big bonus.

And buy a bunch of F-16's for Zelensky.

Just try to imagine (you can't ... it's impossible) the money that is being dumped into off shore dark accounts! Don't think for one second that those accounts are not being used to purchase hard assets such as prime real estate, precious metals, art work, jewels, etc.

What's the amount that has been stolen from the American people?

Catherine Austin Fitts did a through research on what the Federal Government really owes on the National Debt. To her shock and amazement, she found that, based upon the CBO's own records, a whopping $22 TRILLION is "missing and unaccounted" for. The figure is unimaginable, but to offer some semblance of perspective, the $22 Trillion is close to the GDP of the USA for 2022, which was just over $25 Trillion.
36   AmericanKulak   2023 Jun 15, 10:40am

"On day ONE, we're going to get rid of these 87,000 new IRS agents!"

Day 180: "We borrowed trillions more with a blank check on what it can be spent on, but we're only getting 85,000 new IRS Agents. Vote GOP so next year we can really change things with a bigger majority and maybe only fund 83,000 new IRS Agents!"
38   Ceffer   2023 Jun 16, 2:02pm

The whole debt thing has become irrelevant, because you can't be more bankrupt than bankrupt. What they have now is a holding action for time as the administration and Congress continue their reckless disregard. Of course, it's all about destroying the country for the Globalists. Spending bills just pad political and treasonista interests as the arsonists try to feather their nests elsewhere.

An official bankruptcy will occur, but who presides over it and how and the outcomes are the questions. Citizens are a defined collateral with designated chattels equity value, to be assigned.
