Watched Licorice Pizza, about growing up in LA in 1973. Long, plodding, boring. But the cameos were pretty good, especially Bradley Cooper in an over the top portrayal of Jon Peters, which got me to look him up. Quite an amazing career, and he still walks the earth.

Prior to becoming a producer, Peters ran away from home at the age of 14 and moved to New York City, where he found work as a hairdresser and took his first job of dyeing women's pubic hair. (Another missed career path, sigh…)

Claimes to be the inspiration for Warren Beatty’s Shampoo.

Anyway, hooked up with Barbara Streissand, and became an incredibly successful producer.
