BTW, NPR is a completely independent company that has nothing to do with Public Broadcasting. It's just that PBS funnels the majority of their programming budget to NPR.

Used to listen to them once in a while when they were vaguely journalism. They were on the Trump Derangement Syndrome early and heavy, all roads led to TDS if you listened for more than ten minutes.

30 years ago, I defended public taxpayer support of PBS. It was a different station then I think. I think, I may have been too young and stupid to recognize it was controlled if it was. They used to do really good reports back then, I miss McNeil and Lehrer. I thought they produced good information to a point. They became useless in the 1990's. I think McNeil quit in disgust, but who knows?

It's been made irrelevant with the Internet though. Remember public television stations where random (mostly nutcases) would show up to rant to the camera? That's how Mystery Science 3000 started out. All this is obsolete with the Internet, as long as it's unfettered, and it's fettered......

PBS gets almost all of it's funding from the NWO. If the people stop giving them money, the only thing that will do is prove it. And at this point, with all the racist shit they constantly play, I can't imagine many people are still funding them.

Taxpayer-Funded NPR to Fire 10% of Staff After $30M Budget Gap, Largest Layoff Since 2008

Taxpayer-funded NPR will lay off ten percent of its workforce, going from approximately 1,200 to about 1,050 employees, after the left-wing media company failed to generate enough revenue, the organization announced Thursday. ...

Many NPR affiliates have a history of attacking conservatives and Republican lawmakers. Just this month, Republican House Conference Chair Elise Stefanik (R-NY) was targeted by a taxpayer-funded NPR affiliate in New York State. ...

In 2021, NPR published false claims in a book review of Hunter Biden’s memoir that his laptop was Russian disinformation. It has since issued a correction, referencing the now-debunked Politico story on October 19, 2020, which used “dozens of former intel officials” to push a false and misleading narrative about the origins of Hunter’s laptop.

NPR is 100% far-left propaganda. It should get no taxpayer funding at all.

It was fine 20 years ago, Bill Moyers was interviewing people who were against Iraq war, I believe he had an honest interview with Ron Paul. Some time around 2010-12 it went to shit and became ultra left Marxist shithole.

I heard on NPR that PBS is cutting 10% of their staff.

I saw that NPR is cutting about 100 positions. Looks like there ain't gonna be any jobs swaps for the libs.
