Santos Burns It Down in Epic Rant on X/Twitter Spaces as His Expulsion From Congress Looms, RIPS Lawmakers as Lazy Drunks Who “Screw” Lobbyists

Embattled GOP Rep. George Santos (NY) burned it down in an epic rant on X Spaces Friday night and said he expects to be booted from Congress following a report from the House Ethics Committee.

“I know I’m going to get expelled when this expulsion resolution goes to the floor,” Santos said on Friday on X Spaces. “I’ve done the math over and over, and it doesn’t look really good.”

Santos ripped his fellow lawmakers as lazy drunks too hungover to vote who “screw” lobbyists.

“I have colleagues who are more worried about getting drunk every night with the next lobbyist that they’re gonna screw and pretend like none of us know what’s going on, and sell off the American people, not show up to vote because they’re too hungover or whatever the reason is, or not show up to vote at all and just give their card out like f–king candy for someone else to vote for them,” Santos said.

I doubt he will be convicted, I think this has all been a set up. To soften the landing for Bob Menendez. They are going to rough Santos up, possibly expel him from Congress. But I don't think he will get jail time. He should run again after he's expelled. People deserve the politician they elect. And for all of his self serving Skullduggery, he's probably the first serving corrupt politician. That while serving himself, set aside some time to do the right thing and vote the appropriate vote on Bills sent before him. His voting record was with the people, even if he was lining his pockets on the side.

If they do go full tilt on him, I hope it opens the flood gate to finally expose how all of the other Congress critters became Millionaires from their elected positions. When they went in office upper middle class at best.

Yeah Souzzi won by 8% which is same amount than George Santos won in 2022. Biden won the same Congressional district with 8% also.

I wonder if Souzzi got a lot of the Italian American vote there who are more "independent" than Democrat.
