I'm not sure it is going to be easy for them to freeze to death. The countries most at risk like Nordic countries are well equipped for this.

Germany can survive this also, and will be innovative.

Germans will set thermostats to 48 degrees Fahrenheit (instead of 68) and wear twice the layer of clothing inside.

Where have most of the gains occurred ? I am looking at Suncor Energy, Chevron, and the Spdr oil and gas ETF (ticker XLE) and they are below 2007 price levels.
