ROME—A right-wing alliance led by Giorgia Meloni’s Brothers of Italy party looks set to win a clear majority in the next parliament, exit polls said on Sept. 25 after voting ended in an Italian national election.

Meloni, as leader of the largest coalition party, was also likely to become Italy’s first female prime minister.

An exit poll for state broadcaster RAI said the bloc of conservative parties, that also includes Matteo Salvini’s League and Silvio Berlusconi’s Forza Italia party, won between 41 percent and 45 percent, enough to guarantee control of both houses of parliament.

In Sweden, a bastion of tolerance, a nationalist and anti-immigrant party is on the cusp of joining a right-wing coalition in government.


The corporate media always mislabels the center as "right wing".

Swedish authorities must be handed the power to requisition and demolish mosques that are proven to be used to promote messages incompatible with Western values and the country should impose a ban on the construction of new mosques, the leader of the right-wing Sweden Democrats Jimmie Åkesson has claimed.

Speaking at a party event in the southeastern Swedish city of Vasteras on Saturday, Åkesson said that Islamic places of worship in Sweden are a breeding ground for radicalized thought and the anti-West propaganda that is infiltrating the country’s social fabric and sowing discord in Swedish communities.

“It is not a right to come to our country and build monuments to a foreign and imperialist ideology,” Åkesson told his party’s faithful.

That will never happen. More likely Akesson will be arrested for Islamophobia first. Too late for Sweden. Same with Ireland. The Irish showed their liberal virtual signaling chops selecting a gay Indian Taoiseach (Prime Minister) and any resistance to mass immigration will be fought by the police, government, and press.
