Ford and General Motors have announced price increases for their electric vehicles, essentially offsetting the electric vehicle tax credits contained in Democrats’ “Inflation Reduction Act.”

The price hikes effectively negate the potential tax benefit of buying one of the manufacturers’ new electric vehicles, The Daily Wire reports:

“Citing ‘significant material cost increases and other factors,’ Ford’s announcement revealed price hikes between $6,000 and $8,500 for its electric vehicles. The F-150 Lightning Pro, for example, will sell for $46,974 — a $7,000 increase from the $39,947 charged for last year’s model. GM likewise increased the cost of its electric Hummer by $6,250 last month.

“The price hikes are comparable to the $7,500 tax credits for new electric vehicles included in the $740 billion Inflation Reduction Act, which currently awaits President Joe Biden’s signature.”

In other words, the consumer subsidy to go electric became a price support for big business, though Ford was willing to sell the car for much less without the subsidy.

LOL! Everything is a short con now, riding on the long cons. That calls for some major campaign contributions.

Another indicator is the Cab Company's experience with the Chevy Bolt. The Bolt was $32,000, but the price fell to $27,000 after the tax subsidy was removed.

Should get rid of student loans too.

Exactly the first thing that came to my mind.

Translation - communism causes inflation. And it's not just crappy cars and student loans. A better example is minimum wage. Even simpler, any attempted manipulation of the free market is bad for you. It eats your time and energy, the only real value left in the current economy, and stifles competition, forcing you to pay more for shittier products.

Higher Ed in the USA was already chugging down the suicide track before this spring’s eruption of pro-Hamas fury. The college loan racket (government-backed) had the perverse effect of pumping up tuition costs beyond what even many pretty well-off families could afford, while loading up young people with life-wrecking obligations (debt which “Joe Biden” is now shifting onto the creditors, US tax-payers).

You boomers think this is some sort of fucking joke.

This is what pisses me off with your ENTIRE generation. Your generation controls the country right now. How is your generation doing? 25 goddamned years of continual stupid fucking war, and your generation who went through the Vietnam War doesn't have a problem with it. You know the Gulf of Tonkin Incident was a false flag, or you should know, my generation and the next and the next were all put through false flags. You won't warn us, you won't point it out, you are an accomplice.

Your generation although they had the capability did not warn my generation (X) about this. We gave you every goddamn opportunity, every tool.

Instead you engage in the most ridiculous bullshit, you post things that are totally garbage, and you take no input. You're the most arrogant, thoughtless, generation this nation has ever endured, and as a result, you may have destroyed it.

It's not just my generation your generation has severely damaged, but every generation after that. Can you FINALLY recognize our media is bullshit propaganda? I knew this in 1995. Telling your generation - this was impossible. So much waste and death could have been trivially averted if YOUR generation would have fucking listened and didn't, but don't trust anybody over 30, and sure as fuck don't trust anybody younger.

You're going to continue to post bullshit without a care in the world if it's true or not. You have no feeling of obligation to be correct, or to pass on correct information. You're not unique in your generation. "Oh the mainstream media lies, but let me post all this fucking bullshit that might possibly be true", and you leave it to everybody else to check, and when they find out it's false, no retraction, no learning, no introspection - you'll just do it again. You've done this for years, and I've tried endlessly to correct you, I may as well talk to a brick wall. You don't care if you're repeating bullshit propaganda or not. You don't care about the future of this world.

People who are wrong, I have sympathy for. You are wrong 9 times out of 10, MINIMALLY, you won't stop. You pollute this space. You're too arrogant to think "maybe I'm wrong" - I haven't had that problem since 18 and most of what I know is because I did consider I was wrong. It was decades ago before I didn't accept to being corrected, you won't ever use logic, you have to fucking be a slave to some fucking guru who is talking shit, full of lies and pass that bullshit off as "maybe this is true" - no it's not, you could trivially look up their history, and see they are frauds. You won't do this, even when I give you the links to demonstrate they are frauds.

Give us some more Benjamin Fulford bullshit. I can't get enough of that asshole lying to the public. He's got a 15 year record of being wrong, full of shit, post him again!!! You're no different to somebody repeating what Rachel Maddow said. Just another fucking liar, repeat that bullshit as useful information. Make some other asshole go through the trouble of figuring out you are posting shit from yet ANOTHER propagandist.
