I knew a girl in Santa Cruz in 1982 (biblical know).
She’s divorced and she keeps in touch.
I convinced her to move to Florida which she did but not to the area I suggested.
Anyway today she texted that Biden is senile and is being abused, and Trump is being unfairly persecuted.
But wait.I told her I would give her a gun in 2016; then I insisted she prove she voted for Trump to get the gun.
She said that her vote was not my business so I said “no gun for you.”
But wait. She just texted me that she didn’t vote for Biden because he’s obviously senile, and that she actually voted for TRUMP.
She told me never to divulge this to any of her friends or family. Of course I won’t since I don’t plan on meeting any of them.
She’s pretty typical for Santa Cruz with the crystals, tarot cards, incense, loves Whole Foods, etc.

As KRC points out, besides driving, women voting is a disaster.

Yes, notice that Black men were allowed to vote before White women were.

“no gun for you.”

A gun is a powerful tool that you must be willing to master and ready to kill with. If not, do not buy a fire arm.

A gun in the hands of someone not willing to pull the trigger is more likely to get taken from them and used against them than it is likely to "scare off" a criminal.

I can totally see a significant fraction of women (20% or more) just voting for the most handsome, tall, charismatic candidate.

I hope I’m wrong but I just don’t think I am.

Trump will be 78 if he were to win in 2024… 82 by the time it’s over.

His energy is impressive but that’s getting up there.

With that said, I’d be surprised if Biden were to run in 2024, he’ll be 81… that means another two years of cognitive decline first.

Sort of.

Black men were allowed to vote in the south, because anybody that engaged in the insurrection of the Civil War - which was nearly EVERY white man, wasn't able to vote. It was just a ploy to guarantee the Republicans rules in the South.

In the North if you were black, you could vote, IF YOU OWNED PROPERTY - and most black people didn't.

Also notice that when it came down to Barak or Hillary, white men chose the black man over the white women.

I don't think sex had anything to do with it.

Hillary Clinton is awful. She's a Neocon shitbag. She voted for the Iraq War as a JUNIOR senator. She's a carpetbagger. She's blatantly corrupt. She gave a paid million dollar speech at Goldman Sachs and she used white noise generators to keep the news media from knowing what she spoke about. She's total garbage.

If that was Barack Obama's MO, and Hillary Clinton was just some unknown junior senator - she would have beat him. So lost to Obama, because when it's the devil you know, you don't vote for it when it's literally the fucking devil. I really can't think of anybody worse than Hillary Clinton in politics, maybe Nancy Pelosi, or Dick Cheney. They are a horrible.

A lot of people vote for the person they’d most like to talk to at a cocktail party.
Hillary and McCain are creepy compared to Obama.
Romney seemed a little odd but much less creepy than McCain.
Biden’s creepiness and of course the facts convince me that Trump won.

DeSantis is simply too short to be president. (5'9"). He is super smart and in a more just world he would be the best pick.

Historically, though, the taller candidate generally wins the popular vote (IIRC - though I think that last couple of elections have put that to the test, and not "always" as is popular lore). So, DeSantis is out unless you simply want to lose. The public is fickle and a lot of the "know nothings" will vote who is most handsome, etc...

I was in Florida in February, and met a lot of other tourists form OH/PA etc... and we were talking politics (after I said I was from CA) and I said that Newsom will likely
be the next president, and they thought I was joking. Then they thought about it a bit more and started to get get scared when I went on to explain why. Funny to see.
He has the looks, the money, popular with unions (willing till let prisoners die vs forcing prison officers to vax), popular with FANG, and is already running ...

Newsom won't make it. His PR has been awful the past years and he has been running his state into the ground. He is too old and played to win by looks or charisma. Also many commie leftoids hate him. I agree that De Santis may not be the most impressive/charismatic candidate, but Newsom has peaked a long time ago and is on the decline.

Exactly, and its hard to fuck up in a white liberal shithole state when you are a Democrat pretentious doucebag like Newsom.

The media there must have reached their limits as far as suffering fools as far as Newsom.

Jimmy Carter was measured at 5 foot 9 inches while in the Navy, and its the average height for American males.

You forgot Newsom has a nutty persona which makes his unbridled arrogance even more unbearable.

Newsom is an arrogant nut, he is just a white male version of Kamala Harris.

And no matter how much you think he has good looks, those looks can't erase his extreme liberal record.
