It's worse - there's a press conference and Biden actually got nailed on his "Putin removed from power" and "82nd Airborne" comments.

They were trying to help him 'explain', and you can see them stunned and backing off without followups because they're afraid they'll embarrass Biden further and their Editors/Owners will be mad, maybe end their career for hurting Biden.

Didn't go well. Biden both alternately bragged about his tough talk and expressed wonder that anybody could take his official comments at an official event to foreign officials dedicated to the very subject as US policy.
