But I suppose that would hurt consumerism, and impact the economy if we have fewer dumb kids living paycheck to paycheck, taking on debt that forces them to work more than they otherwise would. We had to take "Small Business and Home Economics" in Highschool.
Where they taught us how to balance a check book, understand loan amortization, schedule bills, create a budget, and filling out tax returns.
And Small Business taught us to understand small business requirements, like licensing and fees, location rental, sales tax, employee tax, payroll, inventory procurement, and customer management.

I remember struggling to understand the homework and the questions on the test, at the time. But how clear it all came throughout my life, as I needed those skills.
Sort of like a lot of the math on dimensions I thought I would never need, but when I was flooring contractor. I could measure and cut anything at any radius or any angle by using many of those formulas I got wrong on so many math tests, years before in Highschool.
