We have an oligarchy, censorship, political prisoners, and completely unjustified invasions, like Iraq.

At least the Russian invasion is plausibly justified by keeping its neighbor out of NATO. There was no justification for invading Iraq whatsoever, only greed for oil and lies about WMD.
