They never wanted to irradiate your brains and lungs. They just want you to be secure and happy and communicate faster! A bit of over reaction from our volatile Continental frens?
Rebels in France have declared war on the infrastructure of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
"French Rebels Massively Destroy 5G Networks"

"An ever-expanding resistance movement has been sabotaging the widely-hated 5G network.

Says a three-part report on the Reporterre website: “Relay antennae are being torched, fibre-optic cables cut, pylons unbolted. During the night, people burn construction machinery, attack masts with disc cutters or destroy electrical equipment with sledgehammers”."

Semi-related, I remember reading about a telephone lineman strike, and something something about road flares getting dropped into telephone junction boxes which each required a MASSIVE amount of skilled and patient labor to repair.

I think the world would be better off going back to landlines, asdl and T1, and flip phones.

We don't need to keep up to date on Steve Bannon said since 2 minutes ago, constantly.

I don't even see the killer app of 5G mmWave other than self driving cars, which itself is a dubious idea.

5G is for a high bandwidth brain-cloud link

According to the Woo, China already killed a few hundreds of thousands in a 5G test run in Wuhan then blamed it on Covid. 5G segues nicely as a parallel technology with bioterrorism.

You can sleep soundly knowing you kept a skilled laborer at work earning a good wage.

Within a week of a 5G cell tower being activated near his home, a 49-year-old Swedish man developed severe heart symptoms that forced him to flee his home, according to a new peer-reviewed case study.

The case study, published Nov. 13 in the Journal of Community Medicine & Public Health, reported that the man’s symptoms immediately lessened when he took refuge in an apartment without 5G radiation. But each time he returned to his original home to collect his belongings, the symptoms returned.

This is the fifth scientific report by Dr. Lennart Hardell, a world-leading scientist on cancer risks from radiation, and Mona Nilsson on the human health effects of real-life 5G radiofrequency (RF) radiation.

Hardell, an oncologist and epidemiologist with the Environment and Cancer Research Foundation, has authored more than 350 papers, almost 60 of which address the topic of RF radiation.

Nilsson, managing director of the Swedish Radiation Protection Foundation, has been researching the human health impacts of 5G with Hardell for more than three years. She told The Defender:

“This study further strengthens the findings of our previous case studies, which consistently showed 5G caused very high microwave [or RF] radiation exposure rapidly provoked the onset of severe symptoms typical of ‘microwave syndrome’ [sometimes called ‘RF sickness’].”

According to Nilsson, the 5G rollout is a “huge scandal” because it’s “forcing people to be exposed to very high levels of pulse-modulated 5G radiation in their own homes without their informed consent and most importantly without any studies showing that it is not harmful.”

“It is about time to halt the roll-out and dismantle 5G because, from all that we know this far, 5G is dangerous to human health and there is nothing to show that it is not harmful,” Nilsson said.

This is nonsense. You know what 5G is? It's a reduction of power requirements coupled with an increase in network communication speed. It uses QAM (quadrature amplitude modulation) for transmitting data, 5G has a larger constellation, and uses mostly the same frequency as 3G did, although they've expanded it.

The bigger the constellation the faster the data transmission, but a larger constellation has a higher likelihood of transmission error. When you're using your phone, in a conversation even, when you are speaking, your voice is recorded for a few milliseconds, that's compressed to a data packet, and that packet is sent out. While it's recording to do the compression, other packets can be transmitted. The less time an individual spends on the network, the more people can share the network.

That's all it is.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quadrature_amplitude_modulation

QAM is just a combination of AM and FM put together. The constellation is the number of discreet amplitudes you can have an frequencies you can have. Say you have 16 frequencies and 16 amplitudes, a symbol can any combination of this, giving you a total of 16x16 = 256 combinations or 8 bits, that that means you can send 1 byte in a single symbol. 16 x 16 is very old hat, it's now like 1024x1024 = 1048576 = 20 bits you can send in a single symbol. The problem with more amplitudes and frequencies is being able to detect and measure them within a span of time and when you're moving around or you're in an area with reflections, you get more and more errors due to echos and Doppler shift and so on.

All of this stuff is marketed as "you'll have faster internet", that's not what they care about. They want to reduce how often you're on the network. That's less towers, lower power, and lower cost - it just happens to be faster, until more people get on the network.
