Now, records show her office has been dropping felony cases at a rate more than double the years before she took office.

Records from the clerk of the 22nd Judicial Circuit in Missouri show before Gardner took office, the percentage of cases listed as Nolle Prosequi – or no prosecution – averaged 13.5% starting with 2008. The lowest was in 2013, when only 9.8% of the cases were dropped. The highest was 15.5% in 2015.

Gardner took over as Circuit Attorney in January of 2017. The jump in no prosecution is first seen in 2018: 22.6%. The following year it hit 31.5%. Last year, 35.8% of the cases had been dropped and by July of this year, 34.4% of felony cases charged in St. Louis were dismissed.

Bill Bratton was interviewed and cited a St. Louis neighborhood where felons in possession of guns had a 87% recidivism rate, yet the boob pictured in this post released a felon from that neighborhood who was arrested for carrying a gun. To the surprise of literally no one except perhaps for said boob, the guy killed someone a couple months later. Said boob should also be facing murder charges by virtue of being too stupid to be allowed to live.

A buffoon is someone who is silly, one you can laugh at.

These people have evil intent. Their actions rot society and cause widespread harm, suffering, and as this article reveals, death. Their goal is, in their minds, some sort of Marxist utopia and causing mayhem is a way of achieving it. That they don't care who dies along the way is the testament to their maliciousness.

That said:
This year’s total of 107 murders puts the tally slightly below the average of 112 that St. Louis saw by the end of July for the previous five years, from 2015 to 2019.
The decrease this year sets St. Louis apart from other large U.S. cities where homicides are up nearly 15%, according to data from 75 of the nation’s largest cities collected by Jeff Asher, a crime analyst based in New Orleans and co-founder of AH Datalytics.
...
Police this year have a clearance rate of 58%, compared with 36% last year, bringing St. Louis closer to the national average of about 60% of homicide cases cleared, according to FBI statistics.

Frederic Bastiat would absolutely agree with you.

He thinks that legislators in particular see the masses as not human at all, without any inherent rights or ability to think for themselves, mere "clay" to be molded by the legislator.

EBGuy says
And their Rep, Cori Bush: I’m going to make sure I have private security but defunding the police needs to happen."

She's rather blunt about not caring that black constituents get murdered by her defund efforts while she gets private security.

What we really need to do is Defund the FBI.

It’s why ghost guns are such a big deal at the moment. Of course the idiot Presidents idiot handlers tried to temporarily make it the issue of the moment.
