But! But! The Wheels of Justice do not work for Black Folk! That's what we are constantly told.

So none of this really happened. SCOPA never threw this case out. It's all fake news! He's still going to rot in jail, etc, etc, etc. Because WAYCISM.

I'm glad to see Bill Cosby released.

These allegations are more than 30 years old. EVEN IF he were guilty, why did the women wait so FUCKING long to expose him?

If a woman is raped, guess what happens if they don't report it or expose it? Another woman gets raped. And another, and another. Anybody that is a victim of a crime and makes NO ATTEMPT to expose it, becomes complicit.

"Cosby had invited Constand to an estate he owns in Pennsylvania the night she said he drugged and sexually assaulted her.

Constand, a former professional basketball player who worked at his alma mater, went to police a year later."

A year later.

Twelve years later they charged Cosby for raping Constand.

A quaalude and an alcoholic drink can knock you out (or a coma; Karen Quinlan).

Cosby drugged people, he should stay in the slammer.

I’ll agree as long as the woman is an adult. A child who is raped or molested DOESNT have the same level of agency as an adult, let alone understanding of the situation. Unfortunately, there are millions of kids who have grown up with such incidents or even patterns of abuse and become adults with serious serious issues surrounding love, sex, and attachment. This is why pedophiles are so insidious and horrible. They ruin lives far beyond the hours or days lost to their direct predations.

Does this mean Derek Chauvin has lost his chance of putting his knee on Cosby's neck in prison?
6   clambo   2021 Jun 30, 12:21pm

People are ignoring that Cosby drugged them.
If someone did that to me they better hide.
7   AmericanKulak   2021 Jun 30, 12:26pm

My dad, sometime in the 1980s when Cosby appears on TV:

"That guy is a pervert. And loves Farrakhan"
8   Tenpoundbass   2021 Jun 30, 12:47pm

None of his "Victims" were Victims. They were trying to Victimize him.
Who in the fuck goes to a grown man's Hotel room, and is greeted by a huge black guy in a bathrobe, then goes inside anyway?

He was targeted by the same people who brought down Harvey Weinstein for almost the same reasons, but also because he told black youth to stop being Liberal Yo Dog Pawns, and to pull their damn pants up.

I have one rule when it comes to these things. If the Victim didn't go straight to the police, then it wasn't a crime.
Victims don't have an expense account, and book spots on Inside Edition.

Most of them went back for more.

If he raped anyone, they're free to buy a shotgun and hire a bikie gang to dismember him and rape him to death after she shoots him a few times.

No one would charge her and any jury would burst into applause.
11   clambo   2021 Jun 30, 1:50pm

They don't go into our hotel rooms because we are not
1. Famous
2. Tell that we can introduce them to people who might hire them.

Guys evidently are not aware that about 40% of young females in LA are hoping to get into acting.

Strange that I have had people come to my hotel room when I was traveling for business and I didn't drug them.

Blaming the victim is absurd.
Cosby deserves more time in the joint.

A YEAR later? Why did she wait a year?

You go to the police, immediately.

Well, if she was RAPED, there would have been evidence, if she didn't wait a whole year.

I don't believe her.

I agree 100%.

Pedophiles are the worst sort of sexual abuser.

Derek Chauvin did not kill George Floyd.

Floyd died of a drug over dose. Watch the full bodycam footage if you doubt it:

I'm serious - Chauvin is 100% innocent.

Qualude was a popular recreational drug in the 70's. Just like alcohol consumption on dates, it sometimes can knock people out if in large quantities, but most of the time is simply lowering inhibitions between consenting adults (i.e. "the romantic atmosphere" / mood-enhancer). If our society is taken over by Muslims at some point in the future, they ban alcohol, will we then all be found guilt of rape retroactively because we consumed alcohol (a banned drug according to the ruling Muslim authority by then) on dates before sex? Did people moon-shine-and-chill during the Prohibition Era all commit rape?

Charge the prosecutor with aiding and abetting. Oh wait ... the government people have all given themselves immunity for any actions perform while working.
17   clambo   2021 Jun 30, 4:46pm

Quaaludes were quickly known to be potential coma inducing or lethal in combination with alcohol.

Knowingly combining them to get down a girl’s pants is criminal.

Its totally wrong, a woman or stranger for that matter could pop up and drag you threw the mud 50 years later.

They changed the laws in CA so there is no limit.
24   Reality   2021 Jun 30, 6:54pm

I have never taken or even touched any Qualudes, however literally tens of millions of doses were handed out like candies at parties in the 70's. Did as many people die or suffer coma from Qualudes in any year as the number of people "dying" of Covid-19 in the past year? Therefore can we now ban kissing during dates? as that might cause death and coma? Can we really trust any of those "coulds"?

BTW, where did Cosby get Qualudes in 2004? Wasn't it banned back in the 1980's after patent expiration? when drug makers moved onto new types of patentable psudo-barbituates/-analogs. Did he give the qualudes to the girls as something both parties knowingly tried (just like alcohol, pot, etc. on dates) or did he admit to sneaking it into the girls' drinks? Why would he even need to sneak in pills to get laid, given his celebrity. "Here's grandpa's magic sex-enhancing pill from the 70's, wanna try one?" should have been sufficient to get a girl to try one. If he had his stock from the 1970's before it was banned or smuggled in from overseas, he may well be in a situation similar to Seinfield's Elaine's "sponge-worthy" test for potential counter-parties.

What's so fucked up about this, is a woman you never even MET could accuse you of sexual assault from 30 years ago, and you're fucked now.

Who has details of an event from 30 years ago, when it was entirely uneventful to them? I doubt Cosby even remembers meeting these women and frankly, maybe he never did. How the hell would he remember?

That was a big argument against the change. Any woman or stranger for that matter can run anybody through the mud destroying them. Could easily be used as political weapon.

They still have Quaaludes? Women luved Quaaludes and it was reputed to loosen them up and drop their inhibitions and underwear better than anything. My old hippie room mate and his female nurse orgy partner really liked them. I had a friend whose wife worked as a pharmacy assistant, and she got busted for ordering hundreds of them through her employment. It undermined his grad career a bit, but they got over it. I speculated (from what they let on from her background) she had been a hooker from a hooker family since early adolescence, and they had all kinds of S&M mags in their bathroom.

That's a perfect example except with this it would be criminal charges and civil lawsuits not just some hearsay for an appointment.
34   Patrick   2021 Jul 6, 10:08pm

In Cosby v. Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the court found that Cosby was trapped by a “bait-and-switch” after a prior prosecutor assured that he would not be prosecuted if he testified in four civil depositions. Cosby proceeded to incriminate himself and admitted giving drugs to women who alleged sexual assaults. Steele later dismissed that agreement, introduced the incriminating statements, and then called five women to testify about their own uncharged alleged rapes. Those gross errors were allowed by Judge Steven T. O’Neill (who the defense sought to force off the case for bias). O’Neill refused to accept the prior agreement...
