So why do all these Irish have black hair as if they were Welsh?

I think it's exciting anyway.

Quite interesting. I take it this film is about the Irish potato famine. Up until this time I thought the only persecuted groups that could get films made about them were Jewish, and black.

I wonder if a film will ever be made of the leadup to the opium wars, where the British were drug dealers and went to war against a nation in order to continue being drug dealers to a population they intentionally addicted.

It's actually the most common hair color in Ireland I think, but the genetics seem odd compared to other people. My dad had blonde hair as a kid, but it turned black when he grew up.

There are very few brown eyes in Ireland, so you get people with super-pale skin, black hair, and blue eyes. That would be very typical.

Yes, the movie is about the famine. Probably doesn't make the English look too good. I prefer to say English because they are actually the ones in charge, and it annoys them to hear it. The Scots and Welsh were second class, Irish third class.

I would totally watch a movie about the Opium Wars.
