So more information from the news reports from October 2018:

Police say Kimmons fired five shots in the early-morning fight, injuring two people. ... Officers and witnesses say Kimmons was shot after running toward officers with a revolver in his hand. Witnesses say officers yelled commands at Kimmons as they shot. Police fired 12 rounds and say they recovered a gun near Kimmons. ... Officers who arrived to the scene later identified Kimmons as a well-known Rollin 60's Crips gang member

According to the Kimmons family: "he was shot in the back up to 15 times"

According to autopsy: "Kimmons sustained bullet wounds in the upper right chest and his left leg"

Incident took place in a public parking lot, so Kimmons wasn't exactly defending his home from an invasion. Video shows multiple police cars with lights flashing when the shooting took place, so hard to believe Kimmons wasn't aware of who was trying to control the situation.

That is not the issue and never is. It is forbidden to acknowledge the black violent crime rate, or the unwise, impulsive and thug-wannabe behavior of many black men. The accusation of racism has been defined as a defensive response to an undenailbe and quite inconvenient truth. The deceased probably had an absent father, and has an ignorant, uneducated, and morbidly obese mother. Instead of acknowledging the painful reality, it's got to be racism. And there is no shortage of guilt-ridden, virtue signaling white people more than willing to play along. The cops are caught in the middle, which contributes to burnout and suicide. They know the truth but to speak it is termination.
