New York City reports zero new deaths from Covid-19 for the first time in months

(CNN)What used to be the country's epicenter of Covid-19 has now reached a promising milestone.
"For the first time in months, we have a 24-hour period where no one in this city died from the coronavirus," Mayor Bill de Blasio said Monday.

Deaths don't matter. They don't take up hospital beds. The surge of cases will overwhelm the ICU wards!

Why not. When 1% of the country has a cold and only 3.9% of that 1% are dying, we should just piss money at it. Maybe have the ship stop in Bermuda so the people on ventilators can see a scenic beach before they die? Do they make IV injected margaritas? That might be nice.

AHHHHHHHHHH! Cases!! We're close to double the new weekly cases from peak and deaths have continued to drop and/or move sideways at a level almost 60% lower than the peak. A peak that involved no hospitals being overwhelmed outside of the dramatized clips the media put out to make it look like people were dropping dead as they walked through the doors. Oh, and most the stock footage was from other countries. Ain't that funny?
