Canadian authorities say that 16 people were shot and killed late Saturday night and into Sunday in Nova Scotia, including RCMP officer Heidi Stevenson, a mother of two.
The shooter, identified as 51-year-old Gabriel Wortman, was finally stopped by officers after a 30-mile long, 12-hour rampage. In his wake, the lunatic left multiple crime scenes, resulting in Canada’s deadliest shooting spree in the country’s history.
Canada’s strict gun-control laws apparently left citizens at the mercy of the shooter as he made his way through several small Nova Scotia communities, from Portapique to Enfield.
During at least part of the shooting spree, the killer wore a police uniform and drove a vehicle that was made to resemble a police cruiser. In addition to the officer who lost her life, another RCMP officer was hospitalized with non-life-threatening wounds after confronting the man.
This wasn't Rin shooting his way into his favorite Montreal bordello, was it? I was afraid of this. Another tragic by-product of the insanity producing lockdowns.
