The nets alongside the golden gate are moving suicides south. Still a pretty place to go out.

When I heard that it’s been 48hrs and they can’t find the car AND nobody has come forward, we have to at least consider digital hoax as a possibility.

My heart goes out to the family if this is real.

They probably had information that would lead to the arrest of Hillary Clinton.

This is the same area my late friend did the act last year. Neither he nor is car has been found.

This is second hand (therefore rumor), but I believe it: officials told the family that there's probably scores of unfound cars down there.

I am not surprised to hear that. The rocky cliff continues very deep under the water level. It's super dark in the deep water. Abalone divers have told me that in such places (certainly not there in the violently rough surf of that exact spot) it's so dark they cannot see their hands on front of them: they search for abalone by feel.

The boulders are so massive, they're approximately the same size (and so same sonar profile) as a car.

Expectations, "Entitlement-Lifestyle", Keeping Face, Keeping Up Appearance, etc in Silicon Valley and the Bay Area are Toxic.

Not exclusive to SV or BA, but your point is 100% valid. Just be you and enjoy life. There's always going to be someone doing better than you and guess what, they could be fucking miserable. Or broke. Appearances mean dick.

Since this is Newsom's Kookyfornia, the relatives of the folks who died should be fined 4x whatever insurance payout they get because of that SUV polluting the 'pristine' waters of the CA coast line.

Seriously, no bodies and no car found probably equals a hoax that this local TV station aired anyway...for ratings. Then when it gets exposed as a hoax, they get to report on that too...for ratings.

They interviewed his ex-wife, and her only comment was: "Oh, well, there goes the alimony!"

Ceffer, missing persons' life insurance doesn't pay out.

Each state has different laws. California's is that a judge must rule the person deceased after a number of years of the missing status has lapsed, and it's not "automatic" that the judge will rule it a death.

Social security death benefit for minor children doesn't pay out. From what I've read, this is even more difficult to collect than the life insurance. By that time the children will either be 18, or close to 18, so the benefit will be small or maybe nothing. There is no "back pay".

Similar for the retirement accounts.

If spouse / ex-spouse was an asshole or b*tch, karma on him/her. But for any surviving kids, it's like a curse.

It must have vaporized or dissolved in the salt water...yeah, thats it.
