Here's one out of the advanced sci fi WOO. The infamous fabled alien 'Black Goo', a sentient black blob entity supposedly used by aliens for cloning, but deadly and responsible for many lab deaths when not contained. How did it get into the Gaza tunnels?

There was a very strange Iceland series called Katla, in which an erupting volcano exposes materials that cause random human clonings.
